Question for all of the experts here: I’ll be staying at the Intercontinental in Marseille next month for a couple of days. Since concierge at 5 star hotels ~sometimes ~ can score an appointment for guests, would it be worth asking the concierge in Marseille to help me get a Paris leather appointment? Or would they laugh me off the face of the earth? Thanks in advance!

It can’t hurt to ask. Worse case they say no. Nothing to lose!

Did you mean you wanna get InterCon Marseille to get you an Hermes Marseille leather appt? Or did you really mean Paris?

Intercon is not in the same league as your Ritz, Four Seasons and Plaza Athenee in Paris though. Plus Marseille is like 750km away from Paris. I’m doubtful but if you really wanna try, I guess you could.

Ah! Yes. Thank you for the correction. I’d be (very optimistically) looking for a Paris leather appointment.
