I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

You can't.
People have to be same one. They check passport most of the time.
I was going to say the same thing but then thought about it for a minute. They’d just have to have the buyer go along to the appointment with the appointment holder as their “significant other”. Seems pretty plausible actually, however without the guarantee of successfully acquiring a bag at these appointments, it could make for some very unhappy customers (regardless of how many times they are told it is no guarantee).

The only person that can pay is the one that got the appointment :)
So unless the person sells the appointment, comes to the appointment with the buyer and pays for the bag and the buyer then transfers money to her, it's not possible haha.

Then it's really too complicated + the seller can do it only once or it's obvious.
I know at some point, before lottery system, people were selling their spot in the queue but that was much more easier.
There used to be open solicitations on places like Facebook for locals in France to try to get an appointment and if they did, for 500 euro payment, they would go to the appointment and then sell whatever they got at face value to the solicitor outside the doors of the store. This was a couple of years ago when an appointment was a much better predictor of qb success. There was one guy specifically that would show off several bags obtained this way and up for resale every week. Schemes like these are probably one reason why getting an appointment and then being successful has become so challenging. (And I think H genuinely wants people to establish long term shopping relationships with their home stores.)

Wow people are really mad out there

Buuut if I wanted to make money out of H, I would never do that but sell the bag I got for much more than 500- benefit
Now a lot of people are aware of H resale value, so I think they dont sell their appointments but the bags.

Checking in here! 2 days down, 3 lotteries entered and 0 won haha

Stopped by Sèvres two days ago, and was actually a bit disappointed by the petit H section (not sure if anyone else feels the same way?) So many random objets that I wonder who buys (ie. leather mushrooms at 1k€)

Spent ~1.5k this morning at FSH! It was decently busy so took a while to find someone to help us, but they were lovely afterwards. So so many gorgeous bags on display! My bf doesn’t get the hype at all, and was amused by the ladies trying to show brand loyalty by flashing H items (ex. turning the clic H bracelets towards the SA haha)

Will be returning tomorrow afternoon to purchase a few more items and get my bf to ask for an appointment as a last ditch effort. Any other tips would be more than welcome, and I hope everyone attempting the lottery this week is having a wonderful time! Best of luck :)

Good luck! I would ask for an appt after you’ve selected your other items. Tell them you’ve been trying for days and your bf wants to buy you a special gift 🥰

that I wasn’t going to get a QB because they didn’t take me to the “secret” room
Sometimes one gets a QB offer in the window alcove in the back stairs or in a dressing room while shopping lol  So do not lose hope if a private room is not available
The only person that can pay is the one that got the appointment
Agree

People receive amazing QB offers out in the open at Fine Jewellery. I have clocked the bags (regular, exotics, Blue Boxes), heard the happy screams and seen the amazed SAs being hugged. (Sometimes on my way to say Hi to SAV and FJ SAs). Best reactions ever, it really makes my day!

PS one time it was my SA. I caught his eye and smiled at the sheer happiness exhibited by his client. ;)
PPS some of the private rooms are too warm, comfortable for trying on RTW, but really airless and with zero natural light to really see leather colours properly.
