I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Here's my experience: I got the very first QB (Birkin 30) from NYC in mid-November 2023. Then, I went to Paris in late January 2024. A day before my leather appointment, I just checked out the FSH store and bought a sweater. (Please note that it was really not pre-spend for me because I already had this leather appointment set up a few weeks ago; I just purchased this sweater to see if the SA can see my US profile.) The SA in FSH was not able to find my profile or anything. So, I created a new account in FSH. In the next day, I showed up for my leather appointment and got the second QB (Birkin 30) and a men's briefcase (Kelly Depeches 36).

So, to answer your question, and it's really based on my experience, FSH doesn't seem to be able to view US profiles as of January 2024. So, the answer is "no" to your question. I also asked 2 different SAs in FSH when I was in Paris, and they told me that they cannot see my US profile. [I am still struggling if my SA in NYC can see my Paris profile, though.]

Have you read the following thread? https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/global-hermes-profile.1065918/page-10. In theory, for example, it is possible to get 4 QBs in a year (e.g., 2 QBs from the US first, followed by 2 QBs in Paris). I think the latest posts (or any posts after the Covid-19 pandemic really) there may help you a bit, I hope? Hope you have a great time in Paris.
Great information! Thank you so much! Fingers crossed!

8 Days Left Until Paris. I've been spending all my time on the H website since I can't get out of bed due to treatment side effects. :confused1:

It was quite a surprise to see the Kelly belt on the French website, even though it says it's out of stock.

The satin shirt that dear @880 shared is on my radar. I'd also like a cardigan and a T-shirt for RTW... I hope to accessorize this outfit with the Kelly belt.

I have a cashmere scarf and 2 silk scarves on my list. Unfortunately, one color isn't showing on the French website, but I'm hoping to find it in the store and 6 plates for home and maybe a pillow and blanket. 🙏🏻

Of course, I'm hoping for a leather appointment, but for now, the Picotin 18 and CTG would make me very happy.

@rumes I hope you start to feel better soon! ❤️. If you’re hoping for a picotin, I think it’s definitely possible. I haven’t tried FSH personally but, I had a friend who was in Paris a few weeks ago and was unsuccessful with getting a leather appointment. Instead, she lined up outside FSH at opening time and politely told the host that she knew what she wanted and if they had it, great, otherwise she would leave lol. She said she was able to get both a picotin 18 and a herbag. She was in and out of FSH in 30 minutes. Hope that helps and wishing you all the best!

Thank you for your support 💚
Hope your friends will use them in happily and healthy days 💚🍀

For sure I will try this way as well.

Hi everyone, I have been researching in the forum for a while but never posted. I moved to Paris last summer (American) and recently became interested in Hermes, specifically the Picotin 22. I have been requesting Leather Appointments through the lottery rather religiously for myself and my husband since December with no luck so far. I work near FSH so I will sometimes drop in to check for cancellations but the answer is always no, even when I specify that I just want a Picotin/non-QB and have said that I am local. I also had no luck when stopping by George V on one occasion. A week or two ago my husband and I went in to FSH and hit it off with an SA in scarves so I ended up purchasing a few items I had been wanting for some time for my anniversary. The SA said she was not able to assist me with bags (maybe she was less senior based on other discussions here?) and my purchases in Paris have had no effect on my lottery luck thus far. Would you all recommend that I try establishing a relationship with an SA in another store (I am interested in some Twillys and possibly some sandals once summer weather actually comes to Paris) either in Paris (Sevres?) or elsewhere in France on future travels (thinking Strasbourg or Lyon)? Also open to other tips from locals. Thank you!

I’m not local, but I do shop mainly RTW twice a year with an SA at FSH (I simply got very lucky that mine and her substitute works throughout the store including leather) as well as one at my home maison.

IMO only, stick to your SA that you like and keep trying. I think you are doing all the right things. Most SAs in Paris stores will say that they cannot help with bag appts, and they actually cannot. Only a few can, and it’s not always easy to establish a relationship. If you simply want a picotin 22 (and that’s it), perhaps also consider authentic resale. Good luck

ETA: some members have reported luck with cancellations around 3 pm weekdays; many advise staying clear on weekends. Most people recommend avoiding the Olympics. However, the managers of other high end shops (furniture and art galleries) have told us that they may close during the Olympics bc the streets will be blocked and their clientele will be away. So, since you are local, perjaps it isn’t a bad idea to try then.

Wondering if stock of bags will be low during the Olympics. We’ll be there during that time frame and just hoping to be offered something.
JMO - I don’t think Hermes cares less about the Olympics! Hermes is already an Olympic sport for us “in play” already! Hermes does not need to offer more bags out to the universe to bolster popularity! The Olympics is the perfect opportunity to bolster the exclusivity of the brand/ strengthen the “desired but hard to get” branding that already exists. I can’t imagine a meeting where Hermes big wigs gather around and say, “ Ok- let’s ramp up production to meet Olympic demand” ! JMO….but I truly wish those that try all the best luck- and will be following here to read of all your stories-so please share!
