I am flying into Paris on Tuesday.... is there a way to apply while in the states still on Monday for a Tuesday appt? I know it says to connect to a local wifi?
You might be able to use a vpn and set your location to France. It works to at least bring up the appointment site. But remember you need to apply basically at 10:30am(?) French time.

Absolutely, with a VPN. I would keep in mind, especially if coming in to CDG, that it can take a long time to get into the city. (I for one am thankful that we don't have a helicopter service a la NYC.)

Does anyone know how long it takes for items purchased on the French website to be available for pick up in store? Does it vary or are items mostly readily available at the boutiques within a couple days?

I was wondering because when in Paris if i am unable to get a leather appointment or walk-in for the non-quota bag i’m looking for, perhaps i can get lucky online and pick it up before the end of my trip.

Also if i manage to purchase a bag through the French website (while in the USA) in the weeks leading up to my Paris trip, how long do i have to pick it up? Is it 21 days?

If you order from the website for store pickup, the timing can vary a bit. I've ordered prior to my leaving home ( 2 weeks) and both had an email saying it is at the store ready for pick up after 7 days and also had the items not arrive in 2 weeks. I think it may just depend on getting it from a warehouse, to Paris etc. Ordering while in Paris for pickup within the next few days is dicey.
I can't remember exactly what the email says for time to pickup, but must be 2-3 weeks after it is delivered to store.
I've also ordered to ensure that a particular item in my size will be available, but if it is miraculously on the floor, I'll try it on etc. with the SA. If I take it, I just ask them to cancel/do a return on my duplicative order.

Thank you for this, I find it really helpful as I have never considered this option before! 🙏🏼

I do this reasonably often when I am on my way back to Paris from somewhere (usually for smaller things). Arrival time varies as French/EU web inventory is held differently than in, say, the US. It's a 21-day hold once it arrives, but you can call website pick-up at your chosen store and ask them to hold it longer.

Thank you both sooo much!! This is very helpful information! I will definitely be keeping an eye on the website a few weeks before my trip! Hopefully i can get a bag and some other items that might be hard to get directly from the stores

Thank you! I am going to try this! We arrive early Wednesday morning around 10am. I have a feeling it's going to be very very busy with the Olympics!!!

The Olympics haven't started yet! Not even close :) Although the street closures have certainly kicked in
It is pretty crowded, though - high tourist season here and the mayor was estimating that without the Olympics we would still have more visitors than last year! Still, the majority of tourists are in the 8th, the 1st, the Marais, St.-Germain, and the Latin Quarter - Paris has lots more to offer than that!
And yes, the stores are a bit...full...
