I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

hello! Does anyone has any experiences/thoughts to share about obtaining a constance 18 in paris? Ideally epsom and black. I know its a very low chance but would love to hear everyone’s thoughts (:
If you can get a leather appt, anything is possible. It’s helpful to read the thread as many have mentioned their success in obtaining C18s  However, others on this thread have also stated that it is easier to cultivate your local SA

Just to give some people some hope! I have been a regular a FSH for the last 4/5 years and was also able to have appointments made for me in advance. Unfortunately, Hermes has made this more difficult as of May 1.

I was recently in the SOF and added a day for shopping in Paris at the end of my trip. I was disappointed that I had been unable to procure a leather appt (and have a big purchase history specifically at FSH).

I went into the store towards the end of last week and I was able to get a walk in appt. (very early in the day with no wait). I told the SA what I wanted the most (a particular exotic), and then gave him a few other b/k that are on my wishlist. I waited longer than I ever had (30 minutes or so) while he was in the stockroom. He came back out with several boxes and I was able to get my second choice bag (Kelly), a KTG, and a 24/24 21.

Moral of the story- don’t give up hope. I did see quite a few people coming in after me asking for walk in appointments (declined). I genuinely think that I got the appointment (before they even checked my profile) because I tend to put myself together well (that day- ankle length jeans, Hermes sneakers, linen blouse, Isabel Marant blazer, Barenia Fabourg birkin, and a the appropriate jewelry), a good blow out etc.

Good luck in Paris!!

Do you mind me asking if you purchased quite a bit before getting offers at both stores?
I did have some limited purchase history at both stores, but my overall history for France (Paris) is very good and reasonably long and consistent, so I think that helped. I find that in France, since they don’t work on commission at all, it is easier to make a connection/show interest in other items and then casually slip in what you’re looking for.
