I am thinking along the line of the hotel concierge would receive for us and we would collect from concierge when the items arrived and we were informed but how to ensure they are really delivered or that the concierge would not deny receiving them ?

This service is one advantage over staying in AirBnB. It’s nice to have your bags waiting in your room when you return.

Yes, complimentary delivery is considered safer and more convenient. You can request the items be delivered to your room by the hotel concierge or doorman or held for pick up. This is a normal request that any luxury boutique, hotel concierge, or city doorman handles every day.

note: for RTW, FSH will not deliver back your own clothing to the hotel, so you cannot wear items out of the store.

Yes, I had mine delivered to my room. The SA will ask where you are staying and in which room. When I got my blue indigo kelly in 2015 from FSH, I was so excited I told the SA the wrong room number. Thankfully, I corrected myself before I left the store! The SA laughed and said that I "almost" made someone's day!! It's a good idea to write down the room number before you go, because if you are like me, the excitement of receiving a bag will erase whatever memory you have!
(To be fair, we went to H the day after we arrived, so jet lag was still a reality!) This was in the "good old days" when I didn't need an appointment to buy a quota bag.

I just returned from Paris and when I purchased my B30 noir in box they did have the wrong room number.But fortunately I was staying at a small boutique hotel so it was discovered immediately. I would have never known except when I went back to H the next day they ( Hermes) told me. Since they have your name the hotels usually verify…

Success Story time! I, like many others, was not able to get a leather appointment this week in Paris. DH and I were wandering through the beautiful FSH store and I finally worked up the courage to ask the SA in SLG about a KTG. She said “maybe” and asked about what colors I would like. She came back a few minutes later with this pink beauty and I am in love! I am still new to H so this is my first “bag.” I am so happy to come home with such a great memory. We also bought a sweater and a tie for DH, working with three different SA’s throughout the store (at the same visit) and they were all truly lovely. This was this past Thursday, 6/30. I know people have had mixed experiences lately so I just wanted to share mine. No birkin on this trip but this is a beautiful result for me, as I had no appointment or H connections.

I was in Paris back in the first week of May and DH and I was not able to score a leather appt. Going back next month and hopefully I am able to get a leather appt this time around.

Thanks to those who have responded. So it seems generally the delivery service is safe to use though there could be slight risk when room numbers get mixed up.

We have been in Paris since Thursday and have been trying to book an appointment, but no luck. We went into the store and couldn’t believe how busy it was. The handsome Michael Coste was there, on the first floor, chatting with Danielle Steele and her beautiful daughter. All the sales associates that we spoke to and dealt with were lovely. Keeping fingers crosssed.
