Yikes. One’s child has better odds of getting in to Oxbridge than anyone getting an appointment in Paris.

I told the SA what I wanted the most (a particular exotic), and then gave him a few other b/k that are on my wishlist. I waited longer than I ever had (30 minutes or so) while he was in the stockroom. He came back out with several boxes and I was able to get my second choice bag (Kelly), a KTG, and a 24/24 21.

Moral of the story- don’t give up hope. I did see quite a few people coming in after me asking for walk in appointments (declined). I genuinely think that I got the appointment (before they even checked my profile) because I tend to put myself together well (that day- ankle length jeans, Hermes sneakers, linen blouse, Isabel Marant blazer, Barenia Fabourg birkin, and a the appropriate jewelry), a good blow out etc.

Hi! This truly gives me hope! I am going to Paris at the end of the month, and am hoping to be offered a 24/24/21! What color were you offered, and did it seem like that particular bag was scarce? Thanks so much❤️

The Evelyn was a walk in, I bought a card holder and when she asked if she could show me anything else I asked for the Evelyn.

The B my husband went in and asked for cancellations explaining we had tried for 5 days with no luck and we were leaving the next day. He somehow was passed to the store manager who he talked to for a while (man can talk forever) and she ended up giving us an appointment at opening the following day (our last day in town).

I found the SA’s at Georges V way nicer than FSH. We went to Sevres once as well but it was a complete madhouse (so was FSH and they were hard no on walk-in anything).

Hi, some posters in this thread have suggested when asking for cancellations or while buying another item, you should specify you are not interested in BKC. A mini 24/24 may also be possible from an SA/ home store, if you cannot get one in Paris

@nicole.persinger , my DH can also talk forever and sometimes I think my SAs like him more than they like me lol

FSH was a hot mess when I went today. A complete madhouse. So crazy how the Birkins and Kelly are all over the place there in the displays! I will try George’s, hopefully I will have better luck there.

For the 24/24 21 I was given the color I wanted, gris meyer. The kelly was also the color I wanted. Good luck!!!!

I would recommend going at 10:30a to see if there are cancellations as I feel like that appointment time is easiest for people to miss especially given the travel issues a lot of people are having etc. a much higher likelihood of missing that time slot than later in the day :) I have always found the SAs really lovely at FSH.

I wonder what the true ratio of requests and slots. I was there -2 weeks ago and told 3000 for 100 slots by a FSH SA The number seems different every quote… Not that it really matters but just wonder what the real ratio is ( also I imagine it might fluctuate at different times of year.

I have heard the same- between 2-3k requests per day, and 100 slots.

I was told 10k for 300 slots which didn’t exactly make sense to me, but lol
