Well, it’s purely up to you. I bought those but wasn’t offered a quota bag last summer. Then I was offered one in the winter.
But I wasn’t reading here much before my trip so I wasn’t aware there is a way of ‘ play my cards’. Depends on if you are good at it or not. I don’t know how to play it.

Even if you are good at playing, if they don’t have the item you asking for, you still won’t get a bag. No one at H will tell first time walk in their inventory. Unless you are a very good negotiator, you might get sth not originally from your request.

Just buy items you will never regret!

I was in Paris with hubby from Thu to Sun last week. We both tried to request the online appointments for FSH 3 days in a roll and all failed. Went to FSH at around 5pm on Thu to buy a ring and then politely asked if there was any cancelled appointment. None. The SA was super nice and helpful though.

Lined up at the Sevres store on Friday morning to get an appointment but failed and was told to come back at 3pm on the same day to line up for the afternoon appointments and there should be 20 appointments available. Came back at around 2:30 and I was in line #22 .

Went to the George V store on Sat morning and there was no b/k/c. Super nice SA again. Got a pair of sandals there. Went to Sevres again in the afternoon and same thing no b/k/c. The SA said the bags are usually gone before Sat plus it’s summer so stock is very limited . November would be a better time to visit. Again, the SA was super helpful and nice. Bought a small wallet there

At least I didn’t leave Paris empty handed and I enjoyed my time there

Sorry this happened. I had a situation where I think I was labeled a reseller last time I was in Paris..,it was disheartening and annoying. I posted my ridiculous story ( a long post) on this thread. I wish you luck. I have decided to return in November for a second try.

I wanted to share my most recent score in Paris along with a few of my gfs on the same trip in June for comparison purposes.

1) One of my gfs got an appointment at George V at 4pm on a Saturday and was offered a B30 of her choice immediately after telling them her specs.

2) I scored an appointment at FSH on a Monday at 10:30am and told the SA that I wanted a B/K 25 and was told no immediately, then I asked for anything rose gold and it was also a no. My next choice was a B30 in anything gris and the SA brought back a gris Kelly backpack which I turned down. Now I was getting impatient so I basically told her to come back in any color B30 and fair enough, she came back with one in which I accepted.

3) Another of my gf booked an appointment online for FSH and landed one on a Friday. She asked for a neutral color B30 and ended up with one.

4) #3’s sister landed an appointment the following day at FSH and asked for a noir B/K and ended up with a noir Kelly.

5) 2 more gf’s walked into George V and one got a B25 and the other a B30.

6) another gf left Paris early before getting an appointment so she spent $20k in accessories at Hermès in Rome and was offer 3 different B in different sizes to choose from. She ended picking a B35.

From what I saw, we all scored something despite the fact it was Fashion Week. I did use my husband’s business credit card and they asked me if it was a business and I said no. I don’t know if I was classified as a reseller after that or not?

Wow! Lots of bags offered. Curious though, Why would that make you a reseller? Also doesn’t your passport have to match the CC? Unless DH was there with you?

Lol yes DH was with me and I have an authorized user card under the same business. I didn’t know about the whole reseller thing and I put everything under the business credit card. So I was kinda surprised that at check out they asked me if this was a business in which my auto response was “no” and they kinda let it go without asking anymore questions. Maybe because my husband’s business name was printed on the card, he owns a shoe company but that’s not handbag lol and I didn’t buy any shoes that day.

US Passport question: I will need to renew my passport before my next trip to France, since renewals get new passport number does H link your new and old passport numbers? Does anyone have any idea? I don’t have a common name at all but it seems like you would look like a new client??? I hope not bc it seems like purchase he would be wiped out.

I believe your profile is driven off your home address and name. So they should be able too look you up that way.
