Don't give up. It took me 3 trips to Paris to get one. When I was told they didn't have any, i genuinely was heartbroken and asked if there really wasn't any available. I got offered two Kelly 32s after that.

Go to the Sevres store first thing in the morning. That's where I got lucky in getting my Kelly. They will deny a lot of people, but if you show you are genuinely passionate and not looking to resell, your chances will go up drastically. I gave up on the Flagship store after 3 trips to Paris.

Yes I honestly think they thought I was a reseller so I don’t know if they have forever blacklisted me. It was very disappointing. But maybe I am willing to try again... I was disappointed that I did not get a bag but what infuriated me is that furious bc I really think I didn’t get one bc SA thought I was a reseller.

The story is long sorry. I never would post it because it’s long and ridiculous but since you asked...
Went to Paris for a “ pseudo work” trip. I really wanted to try for a B30 or B35. My SA is great but I also loved the idea of paying 35% less than US prices. At that point I had Jyp, mini Halzan Constance , K32, DS and Evie and several pieces of jewelry. I have pretty good brand knowledge and started collecting 4 years ago but heavily last year. My GF husband works for airlines so she flies free. She is quite well off but very very frugal, loves H but will only buy in Europe due to price diff. She really wanted a DS and / or B35. Neither of us had history in Paris. For me since since it was work my flight is basically paid for. Neither of us were able to secure appt at FSH. George V was great but it was during their move so stock of anything was low. Initially Sevres we went somewhat late and the main leather SA would not give us appt. we were fresh off plane and dressed a bit sloppy so we thought that was it. Ended up buying CSGM and a sweater and at checkout I spotted my Cabacity... stunning bag never saw or heard of it so they brought an SA to help ( but it was quite late near closing). We discussed the cabacity and my friend asked for DS. He should me another briefcase style bag bc I had expressed my love for all navy. I decided to think on it probably buy the next day. He put it aside for me. We discussed the DS was maybe being retired so stock low. He said he might get something tomorrow. We also mentioned B30 or B35. Or K32. So he gave his card so we could return the next day , said he was expecting possibly delivery that night. Next day I still love cabacity and go to buy. Bought another scarf so I meet him and he says no shipment come back later. I told him I wanted to buy cabacity now since he helped me and I wanted to be sure that he received credit. I think he appreciated that sentiment so he gave us an actual appt with him for later, wrapped up cabacity to send to hotel but decided to wait to deliver it in case I found anything else later. We go back later and wait for him , then he takes us to back with 2 glasses of champagne to tell us he has nothingI was heartbroken. He said he was off the next day but would set me up with another SA. So again we talk about our interests... B30/35 noir unit etain and my friend would also take etoupe. Flexible hardware and leather. Same for K. I start showing him pics of my purse wall which honestly if you didn’t know looks like the wall if a boutique. We are having a good rapport and he seemed encouraged for us. He brings over his colleague who happens to be the SA from the day befire... tells our request and we plan to return the next day. She did seem very warm toward us so we expected this to not go well. Next day she immediately says we have nothing no bag no color no leather. I tried to remind her of our requests and she nothing at all. She was actually quite rude. I was disappointed but not surprised. Went on to a few mire scarves from the SA who sold me the other scarves jewelry and RTW. That SA saw my disappointment but it was fine. As I was checking out i I saw a lady who was behind us the day before being shown 4 bags. I no longer remember exactly but I think 2 B and 2k. They were 25 so I am now really upset bc SA said nothing at all no size no leather. The SA asked why I was so upset and when I explained she got the manager. I explained why I was upset frustrated and disappointed. Then he made a comment ... that these bags are so expensive why am I not specific about what I want. I told him in fact I had been specific. I also told him that if there was only 1 bag I would let me friend take it bc I knew that US SA would eventually get bag for me but that my friend will not pay US price.again he made some comment about the price of bag ( as though) perhaps I cannot afford. I said oh so you think I am a reseller... I said that is insulting and sad. He said oh those are your words not mine. I was very upset at this point. Not crying but close. He somehow then figured out that I was the client who bought cabacity which is not well know bag, not cheap and probably not a bag a reseller would go after. He said that the lady I saw should have been taken into a room and he apologized for that but otherwise offered no explanation. I saw the bag she bought so I knew there were others she didn’t buy. (Yes I know how H works a bit secretive, not always upfront( but to have it so blatantly in my face it was disappointing. Then I thought back to the night before and me showing my purse wall to the nice SA and the not so nice SA and made me think maybe they thought this was actually a resale shop and not my house. I might add I do not look like your “ typical H client. I am a short black female with no husband so sometimes people assume I can’t afford luxury items. (Happens less so when I carry my B or K or C). I told you it was a long ridiculous story. I have a great SA and I have no lack of H goods but I really wanted to buy a special bag in Paris. I love my cabacity but it’s heavy I rarely use it. Going back in November but honestly I think I am blacklisted.
