Today is a holiday. Most places are closed or have alternative hours.
FSH and the other Parisian H boutiques are closed today.

I’m back to share my story!

PART 1

My stay in Paris was planned for 6/5-6/7 then heading to London via Eurostar. With only 2.5 days in town I went ahead and started to apply online for an appt 2 days prior to my visit, in hopes to get some rejections out of the way - Saturday 6/1 for Monday 6/3 and Monday 6/3 for Tuesday 6/4. Both days I set an alarm for 4:30am ET (10:30am Paris time) to sign up for myself and DH. As expected, both of us got rejected for both days.

Tuesday 6/4 4:30am ET came around and I applied for both of us, sadly we were rejected again. Prior to leaving for the airport that evening I emailed the jewelry SA that assisted me last time and informed her I was visiting Paris and would love her assistance on a few items (I had a ring and silver cufflinks on my wishlist).

I checked my email as soon as I landed on Wednesday 6/5 and saw her reply! She had both items on hold for me and that she was working all of the days during my visit! DH and I quickly settled into our hotel and went straight to FSH. Due to our delayed flight, excruciating wait at immigrations, and heavy traffic to the hotel, we were only able to get to FSH at 5:40pm. Fortunately the jewelry SA was just finishing up with another client and we only had to wait for a few minutes. For those who were curious, we went upstairs to the fine jewelry area and remotely waved at her from a distance and she nodded at us with a smile (no offense taken or awkwardness there). I asked DH to stay put in the area and ran back downstairs to quickly check on wallets, and that’s when I found the mini Bearn wallet in black epsom with RGHW! I requested for it to be on hold at the cash wrap and went back up to see my jewelry SA.

The jewelry SA greeted me with a big kiss and sat us down with the 2 items prepared for us - the chaine d’ancre punk ring with diamonds in rose gold and sceau cufflinks in sterling silver, both look stunning in real life and we decided to take them! By then it was approaching 6:15pm and she asked if there was anything else she could help with. I was straight to the point and told her we received back to back leather appt rejections, and wondered if she could be of help on bags. She was very kind and quickly asked what style I was looking for and instantly looked on her iPhone! I asked for Kelly 25/28 in neutrals, retourné or sellier for 25cm and retourné only for 28cm. The purchase would be under DH’s profile as I already bought a Birkin at FSH back in March. Looking at her iPhone she was quick to inform me nothing much was left for the day unless I wanted large and bright colors, and asked if we had applied online again today for tomorrow (yes). She advised us to return first thing in the morning at 10:30am to see her regardless of the outcome. She also suggested to hold the 2 items to purchase the next day with everything together should there be “something else” be purchased the next day lol. We were so thankful for the transparency and her eagerness to help! Before we departed I handed her a box of chocolate from and a box of chocolate pocky from NYC for her toddler son as I recalled he loves chocolates, she was very happy and jokingly reminded me not to oversleep haha!

That evening both of us for rejected for the 4th time (8x in total between 2 people).

PART 2

We returned to FSH right at 10:30am the next morning on Thursday 6/6, and beelined up to see her. She gave us a big kiss and immediately whipped out her iPhone and asked me to remind her what was on my wishlist, and off she went! we waited for approx 20 minutes while observing another group of clients nearby being offered a b25 in Etoupe and a light blue Kelly pochette! Meanwhile, we signed up again online for the next day just in case.

Then she finally returned with a huge smile and said I would be very happy to see what she got for me, and hinted that I probably want to video the unboxing experience! I complied and she slowly pulled out the bag, and there she was, k25 in black sellier epsom with GHW! DH was actually more excited than me and yelled out OMG WOW! Lol!

She also brought with her a jige in black, and also one in jaune naple / rose Sakura verso, but I wasn’t too keen on the style. I did however take a sangle cavale 25mm strap and a sweater from the new prefall 19 collection!

She told us to email her again prior to our next visit and we thanked her profusely. Our purchases were messengered to our hotel safely.

That evening, I was offered an appt the next day (6:20pm) !! and DH away rejected, most probably due to having made a leather purchase that day.

Looking for a Lindy 26 or Constance 19 or mini Kelly (I know, quite impossible) on top of some other smaller items (twilly, shoes, bracelet, etc) does anyone have a great SA they love in Paris or London that they can introduce to me please please please? TIA.

PART 3 (finale)

Our Eurostar to London was leaving at 5:15pm this day (Friday 6/7), so my 6:20pm appt would not work out. DH at this point was also tired and done with H! But he was sweet enough to allow me to return to FSH to ask for a change of time slot. I promised him I would leave the store right away if they said no (vs shopping around more). We got to the concierge at FSH right before noon, the lady at the concierge requested that I show her proof of my ticket and I complied with showing her my e-ticket. A few moments later she informed me that I could be accommodated and would be next in line! While waiting we browsed the wallet area, and I was shocked to discover a silk’in compact wallet in Etoupe with equateur print interior! The SA managing the area was suprised too as she had never seen a neutral with equateur print before. Needless to say I took it!

We were assigned with a very nice French SA right around 12:30, she went straight to the point and asked how she could be of help. I asked for Constance this time and was interested in more unique leathers, in neutral colors. Our SA asked if she could get us anything else and I was honest with her saying I already purchased a Birkin this season and a Constance would be so great to have, she saw my GT b25 and complimented the bag, and so off she went. This time the wait was super long... perhaps almost 30 mins? The store was extremely crowded probably due to many SAs were off to lunch and people were waiting around for help. Our SA finally returned to us with a box in hand and we were lead to the 3rd floor that was marked “private”, and we sat on the 2 chairs by the window. She apologized for taking such a long time due to very sparse selection but she was so happy to find something she thought I would appreciate. She opened the dust bag and there she was, C18 in box leather in black with GHW!! The scent of this Leather was simply intoxicating and by DH was so excited for me to have been offered such a unicorn.

Overall this was by far the most successful experience in Paris, despite still having had to jump through several hurdles and approaching the situation in unconventional ways, everything paid off!

I think I lucked out on getting the jewelry SA's business card as I placed a necklace order through her during my last visit that would take 9-12 months to complete, and sharing her name card with email was warranted for following up on the order.
