Do you now go upstairs when you have an appointment. Last year just went to leather department on first floor
Although the leather department is upstairs, it all depends on which SA is assigned to you. In 2016, I was directed upstairs. This year, I was first asked to meet the SA on the first floor near the wallets, then the other SA directed me back upstairs... at the jewellery department.

Congratulations on your purchase!

I guess it mainly depends on your SA and luck. I was able to score a B30 in noir Togo with ghw in FSH last month. The SA didn’t check my purchase history, and didn’t try to sell me any other items before or after offering me the bag.

She just came with a bright smile, asked me what I wanted, then came back in 5 mins and showed me the HG bag in a public area! Then we just headed straight to the cashier.

I guess she was probably having a good day. A very good one [emoji23]
Thanks.
I’m happy for you to enjoy a swift and pleasant experience to score your bag

Congratulations for your score. After getting twice rejected online at FSH the last two days, I drew inspiration from your sharing and queued at Sevres this morning just before 10.30am. The hostess assigned everyone in the q an SA. However, everyone was almost out of the score within 15 min because there were no popular bags. I was shown a black Annie(?) bag which I politely rejected. Others were shown the double sens n octagonal shape bag which they didn’t take.
One good thing about Sevres is that you will get served by a leather SA, no prior appt is needed.
I didn’t give up on FSH though n proceeded there straight after. I was really lucky n I hope to share my story to thank all your contributions to tpf which I benefitted much...
Happy to help! Thank you and also congratulations dear! Absolutely stunning bag!

Hi ladies, I’ve enjoyed reading everyone’s posts and wanted to share my recent visit to the FSH store in case it helps anyone. My first visit to FSH was about 3 years ago where I got a K32 in etoupe. Back then we still had to line up and it was on my fourth try that I was finally able to get a bag on my wishlist. Since then, I hadn’t been back to Paris until last month, when I visited Paris for three days after my business trip to London, arriving on a Saturday and leaving on Monday. Since I had not kept up with things, I didn’t know about the appointment system until late Friday night and was not able to request an appointment for Saturday. When I was able to make a request on Saturday morning, I learned Monday was a bank holiday and so the store would be closed.

With no ability to make an appointment, I went to the store on Saturday as I wanted to pick up a belt kit. While I was there I decided to check if the SA that had offered me the K32 three years earlier was still working at FSH. After getting some conflicting information, I learned the SA was still there but no longer in the leather department. I asked for the SA anyways and asked if he could help with an appointment or assistance with a bag. I proceeded to share my wishlist which included a K28, C (24 size) or KP. Given it was a Saturday and there had been several holidays in May, I was told the store was especially busy and there were no appointments available for that day and inventory was low. He said he checked the inventory and they had nothing on my wishlist. He did say there was a KC or B25 available but since neither of these items are on my wishlist, I politely passed. I also knew I would be returning to London this month for work and could return to Paris and try my luck then. The SA told me to use the appointment system when I returned. I thanked him for his time and proceeded to the belt area and picked up a great buckle and color combo as a gift for my BF.

I returned to London for business in June and was in Paris only June 13-14. I tried the appointment system twice trying to get an appointment on June 13 or 14 with no success. I was flying out the night of June 14 and felt quite discouraged and frustrated over getting the rejection texts and emails. I contemplated giving up and avoiding visiting Hermes altogether because I didn’t want to be reminded of the rejection, but I talked to my BF on the phone who encouraged me to just go into the store and give it a try. He said I had nothing to lose and if I couldn’t get an appointment, at least I tried and could just forget about it at that point.

Still not sure if I should go in or how I should even approach it, I decided last minute on June 14 to go to the store and look around. As soon as I entered I could hear my BF encouraging me in my mind and I decided to ask for the same SA that had helped me three years prior and last month. If he wasn’t there, oh well, I’d just browse around and then leave. Turns out he was working and I explained to him how I tried unsuccessfully to get an appointment and was leaving that night, and if there was anything he could do to help. Let me just say that this SA is very nice and genuine and I’m not the kind of person who likes to “plead” for others to help but his kindness made me feel comfortable doing so. In response he was able to get me an appointment with an SA in the leather department and luckily I was offered a K28 in RP. I loved the color and silver hardware and accepted it happily. Unlike three years ago, I did feel this time the SA who offered me the K28 tried to sell me other items I had not asked for or mentioned but I politely declined them. She was nice about it but I could see how some people may feel pressured to buy these other items.

If I could give a few words of advice, they would be: (1) don’t let the appointment system or not getting a bag ruin your visit to Paris, (2) think positively and if you’re rejected through the appointment system, go in the store and ask an SA that has helped you previously to see if they can get you an appointment, and (3) only buy what you want or love. For those of you who don’t know any other SAs, I’ve read on the purse forum that sometimes the hostesses can help if you ask nicely. It doesn’t hurt to try and the worse would be you’re in the same position as before...10240D5B-25DD-4F46-9316-30A830AC2915.jpeg

Good luck to everyone and here’s my K28 in RP. ☺️
