It was around noon when I arrived at FSH. After explaining to the hostess how disappointed we were for being rejected twice, she told us to come back after 4pm and she’ll try her best to fit us in.

We returned after 4pm indeed and she really managed to assign us an appt around 5 pm.

While waiting, DH n I browsed through the Jewelry section. DH showed some genuine interest in a dress watch SA 2 overheard our conversation with SA 1.

We then received an SMS to inform us to meet the hostess downstairs. When we arrived, we were assigned to a certain SA3 but interestingly SA2 was chatting with the hostess. She remembered us and asked DH if he managed to buy a watch from SA1. DH told her not yet as he’d like to buy me a bag first.
Then private discussion between SA2 n hostess began n SA2 offered to show us the bags as she was actually a leather specialist assigned to the Jewelry section just this week.

She was very friendly and throughout the conversation she kept leading DH back to his dress watch. DH insisted on buying me a bag first before we explored that.

After I passed her my wish list, I can’t believe that she brought me a B25 etain. I was shocked beyond words after having been told no B K C numerous times elsewhere.

Love it! I love the fact that your husband stand firmly and didn’t buy just to buy.

Enjoy your new bag!
Yes, because the original watch he’s interested in was a limited edition which is no longer in production.

To be honest, we felt very pressured to buy as she spent more time selling the watches to us than the bag.

In the end, we even left hurriedly before getting my belt n clic clack!

I wonder if I would’ve scored this black B30 if I got the original SA3 assigned.

I managed to clarify some myths about the purchase process at FSH with the staff n have listed them below. Hope that helps those who intend to visit FSH in the future.

1. On line appt. Priority is given to those who never had an appt. Hence, if you were unsuccessful a few times, your chance to score an appt becomes higher. That explains the 3rd or 4th time lucky rule.

2. The purchase history FSH has is only in France. They could not find DH’s account as he bought a bag for me in LA. Purchase history also does not increase your chance to get a bag at FSH or Sevres, according to the SA in both stores.

3. You don’t need to buy other items in order to score a B K or C according to SA but I’m sceptical about that as my experience seems otherwise.

I was able to get an on the spot appointment this rainy morning around 10:50am but no B. I was surprised they let us have an appointment!! I was super excited and really hopeful even though I knew the chances were probably against me just because I was so specific with exactly what I’m looking for... I guess when you score an appointment all the rational thinking just goes out the door!! [emoji23]The SA started off with asking how she can help and it was pretty fast... I asked for a b30 Togo in noir with palladium but will take gold hardware as my first and main choice. She asked what other colors I would be interested in if they don’t have it and I said I really wanted the noir but if not they etoupe or Gris asphalte. She then asked if I’d go brighter colors like blue or red or a bigger size but I said no since I had my heart set on my first B in a size 30 in noir... Unfortunately she came back with a noir jypserie which I told her I was not interested in. She saw my disappointment and and I asked if there was taupe or Gris asphalte and she confirmed no so I guess she looked for all 3 colors. As a last attempt during that appointment I asked if I could come back in the afternoon to check with her in case they get a new delivery but she said she could not. My husband and I were have tried 3 days straight via through the online system with no luck yet for an appointment so hopefully we will score an appointment in the next few days but the whole 3 tries to score an appointment theory did not work for us. In the mean time we r enjoying Paris!! [emoji173]️

I'll be in Paris in two weeks and I'm looking for similar colours in B30, K28, and K25. I'm nervous now. ☹️

I’m not sure, since my experience shows exactly the opposite, especially regarding the purchase history and what are you up to buy along with the bag.

Congratulations on your purchase!

I guess it mainly depends on your SA and luck. I was able to score a B30 in noir Togo with ghw in FSH last month. The SA didn’t check my purchase history, and didn’t try to sell me any other items before or after offering me the bag.

She just came with a bright smile, asked me what I wanted, then came back in 5 mins and showed me the HG bag in a public area! Then we just headed straight to the cashier.

I guess she was probably having a good day. A very good one [emoji23]

Honestly I think the biggest factor is your demeanor and approach. The SAs know the bags sell themselves and with limited supply they and the manager have the freedom to sell to whomever they please. Being nice + real goes a long way.

SCORE!!![emoji1352][emoji173]️[emoji521][emoji162]

After being rejected for an appointment 3X, the 4th time was a charm! I also asked my sister to register for an appointment, To increase my chances. We were both rejected 3X. My appointment was at 4:55pm. There were SA’s waiting by the door and told them I had an appointment. So the SA directed us upstairs, and another SA checked us in. Looked around first but then I decided to wait until I get my FIRST BIRKIN. So we sat at the women’s shoe department. I was seen around 520pm I think. I was so nervous. There’s this Asian SA, who greeted us and asked what I liked. So I said something like “I’ll be frank, I want a black birkin with gold hardware, size 30. Or an orange one”. She said “if there’s no birkin, is there any other bag that you want to buy?” I was so nervous that I thought she said there’s no more birkin. Lol. I told her “No, just the birkin and twillies and maybe a belt. And she said she’ll check. So she left. I told my sister that if she’s gone for 20 minutes, that’s a good sign. She came back after about 10 minutes. With a Big Box. I accidentally whispered “oh, sh*t! “And she said follow me, madame.” She took us to the mens department. And she said I don’t have the exact bag that you were asking for. I have this, a size 35. And she unboxed a noir with gold hardware Togo. [emoji6]after checking it quickly, I said I’ll take it. Then we went to look at some twillies. Then helped me get a belt. I was so delighted because it’s a birthday gift for myself. I asked for a rodeo, but no stock. I still prefer a size 30, but I know this is my only chance to get a birkin, with no prior purchase. We also registered for the 5th time just in case there’s no birkin available. But got denied.
