Completely agree! I go to Paris every year since it is my favourite city! It is a bonus if I can buy a bag. My husband wouldn't agree to make the trip with me each time if I whined over an appointment/bag.
Enjoy your time! (But I am still crossing fingers! Lol!)

Same here.. I have to drag my husband to Paris.. coz he knows all I want is to get an appointment... and shopping [emoji12] when in Paris he said all I need is his “ Passport “

She said she’ll try again when she visits Europe in few months. But with the new system, whether it is 5 or 10% of total appts they accept, it seems like if you have 1030am appt, you’re pretty set - as in you’ll get sometbjng. Whether it’s your #1 or #5

I was able to get an on the spot appointment this rainy morning around 10:50am but no B. I was surprised they let us have an appointment!! I was super excited and really hopeful even though I knew the chances were probably against me just because I was so specific with exactly what I’m looking for... I guess when you score an appointment all the rational thinking just goes out the door!! [emoji23]The SA started off with asking how she can help and it was pretty fast... I asked for a b30 Togo in noir with palladium but will take gold hardware as my first and main choice. She asked what other colors I would be interested in if they don’t have it and I said I really wanted the noir but if not they etoupe or Gris asphalte. She then asked if I’d go brighter colors like blue or red or a bigger size but I said no since I had my heart set on my first B in a size 30 in noir... Unfortunately she came back with a noir jypserie which I told her I was not interested in. She saw my disappointment and and I asked if there was taupe or Gris asphalte and she confirmed no so I guess she looked for all 3 colors. As a last attempt during that appointment I asked if I could come back in the afternoon to check with her in case they get a new delivery but she said she could not. My husband and I were have tried 3 days straight via through the online system with no luck yet for an appointment so hopefully we will score an appointment in the next few days but the whole 3 tries to score an appointment theory did not work for us. In the mean time we r enjoying Paris!! [emoji173]️

Hi, I don't think there is any guarantee. I managed to get a 10.30am appointment on my third try but came away with nothing. I think a lot still depends on the SA you get. Mine was completely disinterested and she made it clear in her expression even though DH spoke to her in fluent French.

Hi all, I want to do a combined post to share my experience when I was in Paris in May and again in June (just 2 days ago) - hope this helps somebody!

May:

I was in Paris during the 1st week of May for 4 days, wanted to contact my SA beforehand but lost her card, I only remember her name so I thought I just tried for appointment online and seek for her at the store when I’m there. The appointment system is tough, kept getting rejected for 3 days straight. Everyday I did come in to check if there is any cancellation but the hostess while being very nice and polite, always said absolutely no cancellation even before checking. I understand that they must be overbooked all the times and I also don’t want to obtain an appointment at the expense of anyone else (when someone just get an appointment as a walk-in, that pushes someone else’s appointment back or worse yet, take the chance from someone who may have been waiting for days)! As such, we walked around FSH, Sevres and George V, made some other small purchases whenever I see something I like - I only wish to buy things that I had my eyes on and will definitely use, didn’t want to feel pressured into buying anything just to get an appointment.

I did meet my SA at FSH once, after explaining to her that we’ve been rejected for appointments twice, she asked when I would be leaving and was about to offer me an appointment for Saturday before the hostess overheard us talking. The hostess then spoke to my SA in French, I guess something about how they are very overbooked so my SA shouldn’t do that. My SA then apologized to us very sincerely, saying that they are forbidden to give away appointments on Saturdays as it’s their busiest day. I completely understand so just told her that no worries, we will try for appointment one last time, if it’s meant to be, it will be.

Alas, on Friday night my bf received a confirmation for appointment the next day while I got rejected again for the 4th time. One appointment is all we need anyway so I was still very happy. We showed up on Saturday, asking for my SA who was also very happy to see us and said she feel very pleased for me as we finally got an appointment.

I told her since I already got a B30 from her just a few months ago, this time I would love a K25 or 28, has to be Sellier and preferably phw. I like neutral colours but my favourite bright colour is pink. She went away for a bit and came back with exactly what I want - a beautiful K28 sellier in Rose Pourpre phw!

June:

I took a day trip to Paris 2 days ago for work reason and decided to try my luck and just shoot my SA an email to see if I can make an appointment with her as I’m only in Paris for 1 day so definitely won’t get the online appointment. I didn’t have much expectation, just thought it didn’t hurt to try, either way I would be in Paris.

To my surprise someone responded literally 15 mins after and said unfortunately my SA was on holiday and directed me to the online system. I politely thanked them and explained that since I’m only there for 1 day, I most likely won’t get an app and no worries, maybe I will try next time. I forgot about that until a few days later when my SA is back from her holiday, she actually replied to me and offer to meet me in the afternoon just as I requested!

This time I told her my first choice is a B25 and she once again brought out just the bag of my dream: a B25 in rough H, ghw - one of the most beautiful red shade I’d ever seen! I literally jumped for joy and told her I didn’t need to think for a sec, just wrap it up immediately!

I think I was extremely lucky to get the bags I wanted and withing the span of 1 month! Thanks so much for letting me share!

Sorry for the run on sentence still on jetlag and allergies First, we tried the online form at FSH at 5pm for the next day opening. We got rejected for even an appt. Then, we headed to Sevres and they don't do a online booking form like FSH, only in person where you tell them your name and show them passport and by then they will contact you by phone when they have an appt. We had an appt that day i dunno around 4pm? and the SA was a very friendly gentleman and checked my wish list. He came back and said we don't have any in stock today. I said thank you and bought some scarves from a nice SA. The second day, I tried for FSH again and of course like clockwork got rejected. My husband headed early to Sevres at about 11am as I was still at Le Bon Marche shopping. Hubby called me saying they have a constance but not the color from my wish list. Alright....what is the color dear? Rose Extreme....I am like dangit I have to look it up online...so hubby said just come to the store to take a look at the color so I ran with the quickness LOL Btw, my wish list was in the earthy brown range such as Toffee, Caramel, Sienne etc....So, i went downstairs into the room and funny enough the SA was the same guy that helped me in a different dept. He was very nice guy and showed me the beautiful Rose Extreme mini constance and even though my wish list colors was not pink, this is a STUNNING pink color which I believe came out in AW 2017. It def does not have that purple toned pink like Rose Poupre. No offense, but I am not a fan of purple colors, unless it's a multi print. It was actually a cranberry, strawberry pink toned red color that I believe will go well with so many outfit colors! A very versatile pink color I must say! I accepted of course and thanked him for his time and surprisingly he gave us his card and told us we are trusted and to email him in advance for anything I would be interested in the future. I really appreciate an SA who is honest, down to earth and just at ease... I still wanted a Kelly 28 or B30 in earthy toned shades so I tried a third time to FSH, and of course thirds a charm right we got an appt and went to FSH the lady was nice and said they don't have any in stock but she showed me a lindy i think in gris asphalte, I told her thank you for your time but I am interested in a Kelly or B. Fast forward we went to the Normandy coast, went to Deaville Hermes my hubby said they only reserve for customers who been on the waiting list for awhile. Spent an amazing time on the coast had the best seafood BTW off the beaten path and headed back to Paris. On the last days, we went to Sevres again and saw the other SA that helped us on first day. I told him we are leaving soon and we got a Constance here, and would like to buy a brown toned B or K. He said okay let me check. About 15 minutes later he said come with me we went into a room, and he showed me a stunning B30 in Gold color in Epsom leather! Oh my goodness this leather is very sturdy high quality one. Even though Gold was not on my wish list, i was in essence looking for "unique" shades or brown red, browns, etc. the gold is of course a classic color in itself. I always see it online, but you never know until you see it in person how beautiful this color is! I accepted this bag and thanked him for his time and I also got this gorgeous twilly and also other accessories which I will post in my videos very soon. Some advice, is don't try to be stuck up and rude because my husband saw many people like that and got turned away. In summation: Be honest, respectful, appreciative, and overall thankful and you will get your DREAM bag! Congratulations for your score. After getting twice rejected online at FSH the last two days, I drew inspiration from your sharing and queued at Sevres this morning just before 10.30am. The hostess assigned everyone in the q an SA. However, everyone was almost out of the score within 15 min because there were no popular bags. I was shown a black Annie(?) bag which I politely rejected. Others were shown the double sens n octagonal shape bag which they didn’t take.
One good thing about Sevres is that you will get served by a leather SA, no prior appt is needed.
I didn’t give up on FSH though n proceeded there straight after. I was really lucky n I hope to share my story to thank all your contributions to tpf which I benefitted much...
