I am just back from Paris. I was able to buy a Kelly 35, my favorite size, in raisin. I am a frequent visitor to the store. I did not go at opening time and I did not have any trouble getting into the store to shop. I would not go before 11-11:30 to avoid the rush if you just want to shop for other things in the store. I only noticed 1 or 2 people sitting around the store checking their phones and not shopping. I believe it looks very bad for people to do that. But the store was serene and much more pleasant now that the line inside the store is gone. And yes they have someone to help with small leather goods immediately so you do not need to wait.

I just wanted to give feedback because it had sounded like the store was chaotic or that people were having a hard time getting in to shop from other posts. That's not true. It was a very pleasant shopping experience.

Congratulations!! Am I missing the pic? Would love to see the specs & mod shots of your beautiful Raisin. <3

I'm going to Paris tomorrow, thinking perhaps a clutch but will mostly shop at other departments. So glad to hear that you also found shopping at FSH a pleasure. Congrats PbP on your new Kelly 35 raisin [emoji171]

Good luck!! I hope you find something you like :)

Congrats! Raisin is my fav colour too!

I went to FSH on Saturday and was unfortunate as there were no appointments available. We went around 12 noon. They asked us to come back on Tuesday but we are leaving on Monday. I guess the bag will have to wait for another trip. Just went to Rue Cambon after to drown all my sorrows lol

Including Paris to my soon-to-be two years old son's bday trip. I want to find out if I should go to Paris on a Thursday/Friday or Friday/Saturday? My goal is to score a B35 or K28 sellier. If anyone has intel on deliveries, please let me know! Thank you!

The SAs tell clients that they don't get deliveries on Saturdays. However, of the 3 consecutive trips I've made to FSH, I've made two purchases ( Kelly 32 and Birkin 35) on Saturday. So, I think it's possible but to make sure you maximize your time, I would go Thurs/Fri. Good luck!!

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update from Paris. While I was in Paris for a week, I only shopped on three days. The bank holiday on Friday really seemed to interfere with stock. I didn't try for bags at FSH, but went to buy some scarves and the store was much more civilized than I remember it being - I could actually walk through the leather department! I can't speak to how well the new system works, but in terms of clearing up floorspace on the lower level, it definitely seemed successful. I was looking for a 28cm Sellier Kelly, and wasn't lucky. The SAs I dealt with at Sevres were more than helpful, but they didn't have anything I was interested in. For those looking for a 35cm Kelly, they did have 2 or 3 when I was there on Thursday. I didn't ask about colors because the size is way too large for me. George V was another experience all together. I have never come across so many rude SAs before. If you plan on asking for an in demand bag at George V, I would highly advise you to walk in the store and peruse the leather department before asking. They seem to have SAs posted right near the door to outright reject any requests for a B/K/C. I was actually told that France only gets "100 Birkins and Kellys per year", and getting a bag would be impossible. I really do not have an issue being told no, but I hate being lied to. Hermès has many educated consumers that know about the brand. Being told something that is so far away from the truth doesn't sit well with me.

Besides that, George V seems to care a lot about purchase history to get a bag. I asked for a Kelly, was told "absolutely no stock" and then was asked if I was interested in any other items. I kindly explained that I have a very good relationship with my SA at home, and would rather buy other items from her, unless buying today would help me get a bag. Long story short, after buying 2 cashmere shawls and a bracelet, a Kelly in size 28 magically appeared. The SA kept leading me on as I bought other items, and was very pushy to get me to buy more. After all of the back and forth, I was offered a retourne in trench. I passed because it wasn't what I was looking for. Although I didn't score on this trip, I still had a lovely time. I wish everyone in Paris the best of luck!

Been following this forum with great interest and was in Paris last week visiting all 3 stores. Was amazed at how hard it was to even get a non B or K bag or small leather goods in specific Colours. I finally got a Birkin 35 on my last try at FSH last Friday! It took 4 tries over two days ( a Saturday and a Friday). I think it was down to the SA as all I met before the last one were rather curt. You could almost tell immediately whether the answer would be yes or no. On my first try I queued from around 10 am on Saturday and there were no more appointments after I made in into the appointment queue about 11 am. Both doors opened at the same time. Second was later that afternoon where I did get an appointment which was delayed by an hour only to not be able to score any bags I wanted (even non K and B). Will update further on my last two tries and experience at the other stores!

Here is my experience with FSH last week. Disappointed but I already thought it could have something with the limit 2 bags per year too. Back in July I got B30 along with other things and it was a pleasant experience. I decided to go again last week because of my husband business trip. I tried 4 times on Thursday and Friday but got rejected in any bag even garden party or anything that is not shown on the display. Basically I could buy only the bags on the display. They gave me the excuses that there was no delivery or very low stock as you all probably know those are not true! I have been thinking if I did something wrong and that occurs to me that I just got the bag last July this year and that's the second half of the year. As I asked my SA in my hometown, she told me Hermes will give one for Jan-Jun and Jul-Dec. What I don't understand why they couldn't tell me the truth about this quata. It's also strange that other bags like garden party, bolide or Lindy were not offered also. My last try on Friday evening, I saw a lot of boxes flying around and even saw many people got offer B and K in the plain sight everywhere. I was there just before closing time and couldn't get anyone to help anymore. I did also try at George V and again same excuses. I must say those SA's seemed to want to sell me the bags I requested but it seems their managers didn't approve based on the different look when they came back to me. So this was my experience and I really believe there is something to do with the quata. Maybe I will try again next year.

Did you have to make payment for the other goods before they brought out the Kelly?

If you got one B in July, it counts as the second half so you wouldn't be offered another one until January. But other bags like GP should be widely available. That is quite strange.

I assume the bag you bought in july is under your name. Why dont you use your husband name to buy since maybe his name is not register yet
