I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Here are some of the items I got from my europe trip. Pardon me if I kept saying Jige in blue agate. It is a tpm in blue agate that I scored and not jige. Maybe because I've been asking for a jige since rome but to no avail (eventually got one in Japan though) Lol. Here they are!

What a wonderful score of beautiful leather bags and adorable Rodeo charm.

Hello, all! I've mostly been a lurker on tPF for awhile and hadn't really been interested in anything "H"....pretty much ever. I don't know what happened, but suddenly, I find I've been bitten by the H bug and now can't seem to shake off this inexplicably strong desire to try and score a B30 at FSH.:lol::graucho::giggle::panic:(Old Me is chuckling/shaking her head at Current Me for falling for all of the Hype....with a capital H!)

Having read through almost all of the posts in this thread, a couple of recent ones (quoted above) stuck out to me in their mentions of December being a relatively better time in terms of stock. Would most of you (especially those of you who have been to FSH in December) agree with that? I worry that even though there may be more stock in December, the stores themselves might be more crowded due to the holiday season. We have also been considering February (before fashion week) or March (after fashion week) as potential travel dates.

I know one shouldn't plan a trip around a bag, but since my husband and I are somewhat flexible with dates/timing, I wanted to tap into your experiences/insights/suggestions for this component of our trip! What would you guys recommend in terms of FSH in December versus February/March?

Thanks in advance, lovelies! (Hope you all don't think I'm TOO crazy...)

Best of luck, @pursesandposes! Dress warm should you decide to go next month!

I definitely think December is a good time to go. But I don't know how these recent changes will impact opportunities. I got my first B last year the first week of December. However I was able to show up around 530 pm wait in line about 20 minutes and ask for what I wanted and get exactly that. With no purchase history. I fear those days are gone with this new system. Good luck though.

I am just back from Paris. I was able to buy a Kelly 35, my favorite size, in raisin. I am a frequent visitor to the store. I did not go at opening time and I did not have any trouble getting into the store to shop. I would not go before 11-11:30 to avoid the rush if you just want to shop for other things in the store. I only noticed 1 or 2 people sitting around the store checking their phones and not shopping. I believe it looks very bad for people to do that. But the store was serene and much more pleasant now that the line inside the store is gone. And yes they have someone to help with small leather goods immediately so you do not need to wait.

I just wanted to give feedback because it had sounded like the store was chaotic or that people were having a hard time getting in to shop from other posts. That's not true. It was a very pleasant shopping experience.

Congrats on your Raisin K, PBP!!! I hope you enjoy her- my Raisin B from FSH is my favorite bag!

Agreed! I scored my bag by walking in later in the evening and only waited a few minutes and got exactly what I needed (in December)- but this is all probably changed with the new system.

I visited Paris in the first week of December in 2014 and the stock was amazing!

Thank you so much for your reply, @hopiko! I hope this will be the case for December 2016, too!

From this thread, beginning of Decembermber leading up to holidays is best. I went after Xmas one year and everything was gone.

Yes! I was thinking/hoping the the same based on what I've read here, too, @tustin (I appreciate your insight, too, as I was starting to worry I was perhaps selectively reading only what I wanted to see! :giggle:)

Best of luck, @pursesandposes! Dress warm should you decide to go next month!

You are too sweet, @Cygne18! Thank you for the well wishes!

I feel the same about the new system, @scndlslv and @csetcos! Alas, I guess I cannot dwell too much on what once was and shall have to accept the realities of change! Also, @scndlslv, I totally remember reading about your experience getting your first B at FSH!:drool::loveeyes: I can only hope something similar might be in my future! :hbeat:

At this point, I think we are officially leaning towards December (...for more reasons than just H stock, of course! ;)). Thanks again to all of you lovely people who have replied! If we end up going, I hope to have something extra exciting to report! (Or at the very least, some more stories/insights to share to everyone!) :drinks:
