I am just back from Paris. I was able to buy a Kelly 35, my favorite size, in raisin. I am a frequent visitor to the store. I did not go at opening time and I did not have any trouble getting into the store to shop. I would not go before 11-11:30 to avoid the rush if you just want to shop for other things in the store. I only noticed 1 or 2 people sitting around the store checking their phones and not shopping. I believe it looks very bad for people to do that. But the store was serene and much more pleasant now that the line inside the store is gone. And yes they have someone to help with small leather goods immediately so you do not need to wait.

I just wanted to give feedback because it had sounded like the store was chaotic or that people were having a hard time getting in to shop from other posts. That's not true. It was a very pleasant shopping experience.

Congrats on your Kelly 35!! Raisin is a very gorgeous colour!!

I was wondering about this....if DH are at boutique together, would it be ok to put bag under my name (no history) instead of his (2 previous purchases, for me:smile:) or is it a family account in their system?

The bag in July was bought under my husband's name. I did try and they told me one B or K per family and I have to use his name because of the credit card.

If you are paying by credit card, the passport holder must match the name of the credit card. Another way is to use cash, so you can choose which name you want the purchase to be under.

Hi! I got a B from Paris in July and my SA said December is a very good time as they have a lot of stock. She said this after we mentioned we were coming back in December. Hope this helps!!

Agreed! I got a lot of wonderful items, including my dream color B at the end of December. I think it's a good time to go!

Paris in December is good, loads of stock and your chances of scoring what you're after are high

Hello, all! I've mostly been a lurker on tPF for awhile and hadn't really been interested in anything "H"....pretty much ever. I don't know what happened, but suddenly, I find I've been bitten by the H bug and now can't seem to shake off this inexplicably strong desire to try and score a B30 at FSH.:lol::graucho::giggle::panic:(Old Me is chuckling/shaking her head at Current Me for falling for all of the Hype....with a capital H!)

Having read through almost all of the posts in this thread, a couple of recent ones (quoted above) stuck out to me in their mentions of December being a relatively better time in terms of stock. Would most of you (especially those of you who have been to FSH in December) agree with that? I worry that even though there may be more stock in December, the stores themselves might be more crowded due to the holiday season. We have also been considering February (before fashion week) or March (after fashion week) as potential travel dates.

I know one shouldn't plan a trip around a bag, but since my husband and I are somewhat flexible with dates/timing, I wanted to tap into your experiences/insights/suggestions for this component of our trip! What would you guys recommend in terms of FSH in December versus February/March?

Thanks in advance, lovelies! (Hope you all don't think I'm TOO crazy...)

Would that cause a problem with the VAT refund? They need your passport for the paperwork.

Yep. In my case, my husband has already used his passport for a previous purchase in the same year, I didn't want to ruin my chances, so I had to use my own passport. But, I wasn't able to lift the limit on my credit card in time for the purchase, so I paid in cash so the purchase can be under my name, and then I just gave them my credit card for the VAT refund. (They don't do cash refunds and yes, the cc has to match the passport)

I visited Paris in the first week of December in 2014 and the stock was amazing!
