So I recently got back from my trip to Paris with shopgirl123. To say that it was a magical trip doesn’t even begin to capture it.

The first day I arrived late because my plane was delayed. I got in around 1 PM and quickly changed and went to FSH to meet with my friend and an SA that I had previously met in May. My friend had gone to the store earlier and found her.

I had at the top of my wish list a chaos three stranded ring which I was able to find with her and purchase that day.

The next day, I tried my luck at the leather appointment desk at 10:30 and was declined. I had on a Hermes dress and k25. They did not seem impressed. I do have to say that the previous day I brought my mini Kelly and definitely had a better impression that day.

My friend was able to secure a bag that day and we were able to go to the red room for that unboxing. It was so amazing and I was so happy. I shopped a little with her sales associate and also asked for a bag but was turned down. At this point, we had not eaten much actually not at all so we left the store for lunch. We had the most delicious four course lunch and refueled.

Of course, with new liquid courage and a full stomach I changed and went back to the store with my mini Kelly and found the same sales associate and asked her if she could help me find a Twilly for my mini Kelly. She said to find her the next day And she would be able to help since it was the end of the day. I also tried at the appointment desk, but the lady said it was too late in the day and no Birkin or Kelly’s were available.

Of course, the last day that we were in Paris, we went back to the store, but this time after having some breakfast because the day previously with no breakfast, it was exhausting. We went to the store was able to find the same sales associate we had met the day before and Shop for a twilly.

I also picked out a shirt dress, a skirt and a fun top. At this point, I asked the sales associate again if it would be possible for a bag. She was very sweet and said I thought you’d ask me again. With a smile, she said I cannot promise, but I will ask and she returned five minutes later and escorted me to the red room. At this point for whatever reason, I just had tears in my eyes for happiness to be in this red room and the prospect of probably being offered a quota bag which was beyond my expectations!

She seemed genuinely happy for me and asked me what I was looking for. I told her A Kelly pouchette or Mini kelly but she politely said those would be impossible. She then asked if there was anything else and I said A K25 or B 25. She asked if I would be OK with a larger size. I told her that I had a B 30 and do not use it often. I also declined a Constance or other type of bag. She took down detailed notes and left for about 15-20 minutes.

She returned with two boxes !

I had asked for a color and she had said most of the colors this year were neutral and if I would be OK. I said yes.

I was offered a K 25 rouge de couer sellier with PHW in madame leather and a k25 vert mangrove sellier with PHW. I said yes to the vert mangrove.

She put the Twilly I had selected earlier on the bag and it was just the most perfect magical moment.

My prespend was about 2:1 with the ring. I love all of my purchases and can’t wait to wear them and send pictures.

I would say what I’ve learned from this trip is that it is a lot of persistence and genuine love for the brand. The sales people see clients all the time and I think connecting with the right SA and buying things that you truly love without the expectation of a bag will make it the best experience and outcome.

What a dream for us to both get quota bags together at the mother ship 💫

Hi everyone,

I’ll be in Paris in about 2 weeks and was wondering if there’s a good opportunity to score a quota bag while I’m there. I know the online appointment system can be hit or miss, but I’d love to hear your thoughts:

  • Which Hermès store in Paris gives the best chance for a quota bag? (George V vs Faubourg Saint-Honoré vs Sevres, etc.)
  • If I don’t manage to get an online appointment, is there anything else I can do while I’m there (walk-ins, trying multiple stores, building rapport, etc.)?
  • Out of these bags, which ones are currently “easier” to get offered in Paris: • Kelly Pochette • Kelly 25 or 28 • Birkin 25 or 30
  • Any recent experiences would be super helpful — especially if you’ve been in Paris recently and can share how things are going with quotas.
Thanks so much in advance! 🙏

All of your questions are answered at great length in every 5-10 pages of this thread. Seriously, take a few minutes to read before posting :)

In general:

1. FSH, but also the most competitive

2. Do not buy any second choice walk-in bag. This could adversely affect the outcome of a subsequent lottery appt

3. B30

4. Harder in 2025, but in the last two pages, a few nice stories
