There's a specific thread for getting bags in Rome and Milan. I don't want to get off topic here, but it's unlikely to get one if you're not a local! Check it out- very useful posts.

Might I give a shout out to H at CDG! I was passing through CDG on my way home yesterday and stopped in the H store in concourse 2E. The ladies were delightful. I knew what I wanted, a picotin GM. I did not see one and inquired about the rouge envelope in the window. The SA was nice enough to get it for me to look at and I decided to take it. I then asked about the picotin and she brought out a beautiful GM in the new blue agate color. Needless to say it came home with me and a new scarf. The ladies were fabulous.

I concur with the service at the airport. I've only been there once but the staff was very helpful even though I was in a rush and got a scarf and wallet before boarding. And the best part is no detaxing needed.
