Hi ladies,
I'm not a regular poster but want to make sure I do post my experience from this morning at FSH. This is my first visit to FSH and I want to make sure I write everything down. But before starting I want to genuinely thank all the ladies that have post their previous experience here. I started reading this thread from the beginning to end when my DH and I decided to make a trip to Paris to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. It's from reading this thread that made my trip today a success!
So DH and I got to FSH at around 9:15am and there was about 15 ppls at the side door and 25 at the front door. So we went ahead and got on line at the front door right before the Givenchy started. It was cold and drizzling today in Paris, the 1 hour and 15 minites wait seem like forever. As I wait online I definitely think there maybe a few reseller but I can not say for sure. I also notice one of the security guard walking up and down the queue. I'm assuming he was checking on behavior of the people. As 10:30 approaches more and more people got online and I can't see how far back the line goes. When the door finally open I can not tell which door they open first since I was too far back to see. I got in and headed straight to the back where the queue was forming at the leather department, while waiting I was enjoying all the display and the store itself. I got an appointment for 3:10pm and I went to walk around the store. I end up purchasing a scarf and a clic clac (to match the scarf ). We then left and went to the Louvre, did not want to waste my entire trip on shopping. We then grab a late lunch and while having lunch I check my appointment time and saw that it will constantly change from 3:10 to 2:50 then to 3:00 and then to 2:40. At 2pm my appointment time got change to 2:30 so I knew we needed to head back soon, good thing we had finish up on lunch and was getting ready to pay. When I was near FSH I saw that my time had move up again to 2:20 and a minute later it was change again to the SA will soon be meeting me. Good thing I had reach the store and had gotten back in time. My SA was asian and she was very soft spoken and nice. I gave her my list and told her that this will be my first B. DH was standing next to me and kindly chime in saying that it is his gift to me for our 10 year anniversary. I remember from reading previous post that the chance of getting a B is greater when the DH is there. My SA said congratulation to us and ask me for my color preference. I told her I am looking to get a B30 or 35 in black or neutral. I prefer gold hardware but don't mind palladium. She ask me whether I mind colors and I told her that I do like red or blue but will prefer it to be in B25 or B30. My SA then asked me whether there was anything elseI wanted and I would also like to get a wallet. So she lead me over to look at wallet first and ask me for my passport. She also asked me whether I had purchase before n Paris. I kindly told her that I had purchase a scarf and bracelet this morning after making my appointment. I had wanted a Kelly wallet but they did not have it in color I want. I then ask to look at the bearns wallet and pick out one in red color (don't know the actual name) and also another wallet that she said is new item to the collection. Throughout the whole time, DH and I made small talk with my SA and I remember to be polite and always saying thank-you every time she show me an item. She then told me that she will go and check to see whether they may have what I want. She was gone for at least 10-15 minutes. I saw that as a good sign. She finally came back with a box and told me to follow her. I think at this point I was in a daze. She lead me toward the back and told me this is the only one available and is exactly what I had asked her. I couldn't believe what I was hearing until she open the box and show me B35 black with palladium hardware. i think at this point I almost have tears coming out and had the biggest smile on my face. I kept saying thank you to her and so did DH. He thank her for making his gift for me successful and that we wouldn't need to queue up again tomorrow. I also want to say that while picking out the wallet I notice a tall gentleman walking by my SA and gave her a nod. I'm wondering whether he maybe her supervisor and is giving her the approval to sell me a B bag.
