Somebody needs to explain why the bidding is so high on this City bag  Am I missing something?

And of course, since this seller doesn't feel Creed pic are necessary . . . Someone 'splain this to me!

That's crazy! I bet the winner doesn't pay.
Speaking of Ricky Ricardo, we saw Desi in a movie from the 30s, maybe one of his first. Boy, was he gorgeous!

I agree, the winner probably won't pay.

This seller amazes me. What an impressive hoard of vintage Coach they must have!

I do not understand why. Maybe because it is BT? Not sure. :confused1:

I've bought a few things from her. She's a good seller. I like that she gives me shipping discounts for being local. I wish I knew where she was getting her stuff from!

ETA I can't see the listing
It ended so eBay is probably showing you something else. You should be able to click on the word "listing" (the listing you are looking for is no longer available) and find it.

The description says the serial number ends in 3832 and made in NYC. Wonder if that's why they are willing to pay that much? It's not even flawless! [emoji53] Plenty of those come by often.
The bidding history shows a bidding war between two bidders with low feedback numbers. Newbies!
Eta, oh I remember my first couple of online purchases way back when!

I have a store like that in my area. They have lots of used and vintage coach and sell it cheap, usually $30 or less. I was wondering about their source too, and concluded that they must have access to some “sell by weight” recycler and have a very good picker. Their stuff is cheap, but it’s all staples, nothing rare or unusual.

And on a bag with stains and ink marks too. Well, better her than one of us.

BTW, see the recent posts from just yesterday in the Authenticate thread on a similar subject, including mine. I would use caution regarding that particular seller. Toolhaus.org is your friend.

I think I was actually taken to a completely different listing yes, and it wasn't even the same seller. The seller I like is not the Station85 one Hyacinth is linking to. I never buy her listings. They often end suspiciously high!

I have the same problem with eBay. It seems they've changed the way the links work. If I click on a link posted here to a sold item, it usually takes me to what it thinks is a "similar item" that is still for sale instead of the original listing.

Also super annoying, I am having trouble searching for sold or completed listings now. If I search for a sold item and click the sold item, it also takes me to a "similar listing" instead of the sold item. I HATE IT. I want to see the pictures of the sold item, not something that is "similar" (but not really even similar).

Ebay just changed that a few months ago and it's a real PITA until you figure it out and remember how to get around it.

Look for the line of text with the aqua-colored background right above the listing's main photo, and click on the word "listing" that's in blue indicating that it's a link (red circle). That should take you to the Completed page of the listing you were originally looking for. That's the way to do it on a computer, I'm not sure if it's different on a phone app.
