Does anyone know what colors the original Willis & Station bags were made in over the years? May be too broad of a question but would be interested to know. Any family photos out there of anyone’s Willis/Station collections?
There were a few unique colors made later (2005-2013). I remember vermillion, federal blue, and I think there is another blue like my Rambler's Legacy. I've seen two different greens, the bottle green and an olive (was this loden, or is loden another green?). Plus it was made in dark grey. There was a variation on tan called vicuna.

All I can help you with is the original Willis colors at its Fall Preview 1993 catalog intro:

I had a 1995 Willis that was Taupe.

Loden looks olive to me (1998 catalog pic of Legacy Small Zip in Loden).

I'd love to find a dark grey one with nickel hardware. I have a black one with nickel hardware in my rehab pile. I love the nickel hardware.

I have the federal blue one (or whatever that blue was called). I'd love to find the blue like your Rambler's Legacy.

I also have one that is a burnished leather. It has a shorter strap than the original Willis bags.

ETA: Here's a link to a prior discussion of the burnished Willis along with a terrible picture.

I have a charcoal grey one with nickel hardware. I bought it on Etsy a couple years ago and had it authenticated here. I think I paid $75, but it was in excellent condition.

Vermillion is one I've never seen on a Willis, if you mean that orangy-red color. The Aubergine color from around 2004-05 was another unusual one, and even had silver hardware. Aubergine, Federal (maybe!) Blue, Taupe and Charcoal Gray are probably my favorite Willis colors.

I don't recall ever seeing vermillion on a Wills either but it was a color they made classics in around 2011-2013. Maybe they didn't make the Willis in it, just some of the other styles. I know I've seen the duffle sac in it.

I almost bought it at first sight because it looks green inside! But then read the description it says black.
Just got it, and I don’t think it is black. Right now it looks like a bluish gray (slate?), maybe it’ll turn out to be navy. Here it is next to a black bag, there is definitely a bluish tinge. Even the repair was done using a navy blue thread.

@dgphoto - FYI, in case you are interested, the Federal Blue (or whatever it was called) is a darker blue with contrast stitching. Here's a picture of mine. The picture shows a littler darker of a blue than it is in real life. It's hard to photograph. (And I got it because @whateve posted it about when it was listed on eBay. I'm still so thankful for that tip!)

What year was that one made? The one that I have has a 2004 China creed and silver hardware. That's the first time I've seen that lighter denim or Federal Blue with brass hardware or with contrast stitching. Can you post a creed pic?

My 2004 China-made version looks like this, the color in natural light is maybe a shade darker:

It has a 2005 China creed. The hardware is silver toned. It just looked brassy in that other picture. Here's a better picture from today along with a picture of the creed.
