Ebay just changed that a few months ago and it's a real PITA until you figure it out and remember how to get around it.

Look for the line of text with the aqua-colored background right above the listing's main photo, and click on the word "listing" that's in blue indicating that it's a link (red circle). That should take you to the Completed page of the listing you were originally looking for. That's the way to do it on a computer, I'm not sure if it's different on a phone app.

Thank you! It was driving me crazy.

Does anyone know if the straps on the Legacy Zip 9966 and Janice's Legacy 9950 are interchangeable? I just bought a gorgeous 9950 but I didn't realize how small that bag is. I wanted the longer strap though. So now I'm thinking of buying a 9966 and swapping straps, if it will work. Or is the hardware and strap a different width on each bag? And would the colors be close enough if they were both mahogany?

I don't know about the strap widths but the colors of mahogany vary a lot. You might get a match if you get one from the same year and factory.

Not that I'm looking for a reason to buy another bag or anything.....he he.

I love the Oliver too. That side detail is so cool. I recently spotted the same tapered side detail on a bag (not a Coach) carried by Grace Kelly in "To Catch a Thief" (1955). Edith Head's costume designs make that movie well worth watching...but I digress.

I'll have to watch that now! And when I was on the Coach website, the Dakotah satchel, while not exactly the same, gives me a similar side detail vibe

Here's a screen grab of Grace Kelly in To Catch a Thief showing the bag I saw with the "plunging neckline" side detail.

What do you vintage collecting ladies use as a carry on bag for a flight? I was thinking of using my Carrier but it's very pristine and I wonder if it wouldn't get ruined and not fit under the seat.. you know just overall be a bit big and a bit nice. It's also kinda heavy even when empty. I have some other options like a bit leather backpack.. again could be too big, or a zip up tote perhaps.. Any ideas?

I don't travel with my vintage bags. I worry something will happen to them. I don't want to be away from conditioner.

I don't have a vintage bag, but I have an older Coach tote bag that I often use when I travel. It is style number 9400. I think it is from a travel line that they did. It is leather, but the leather is thin so it isn't heavy. It isn't gigantic like some totes, and it has a zip top and slip pocket on one side. I also like the straps. They are a bit wider than a typical tote bag and have a longer drop.

Here's a sold one on eBay so you can get an idea of what it looks like: https://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-9400...g_cvip=true&nordt=true&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

LOL Very tempting to bring a bottle of CPR in my checked luggage. Actually I'm going to Australia so I might bring some different conditioners home with me to try.

I have something similar I am considering. The more I think about it the more I think it will be right. It's lightweight, and zips up.. it's vintage but already enough trashed to not be precious especially since I only paid $10 for it at GW.

Here is the bag. As you can see it has a big stain near the bottom. It also lacks pockets.

ETA dang it! I just shoved some stuff in it and the zipper busted!

The only vintage coach bag I travel with is my black legacy zip (as a purse). For my actual carry-on I have abandoned using anything leather at all - they just take too much of a beating being crammed under seats, in the overhead and trying to access mid flight. Ballistic nylon or heavy canvas fare much better. I have to find an edge cover and recondition some of the boo boos my legacy zip suffered last trip. A heavy (thick skin) leather carry-on duffle (not coach) that I have somehow was sliced on the bottom just being in the overhead.

I don’t fly with nice bags. I have a tiny Abbie on me for the wallet, phone and passport, and either a backpack or a nylon tote.

Bummer! Maybe you can still use w/o zipping? Can probably fit more that way, too!

I don't like to travel with my nice bags. I bought a tote on the bay and is an older Dooney very large tote bag in a zebra print. It is nicely worn in from the previous owner and so I won't mind if it gets scuffed from the belt or under the seat. I used to do a ton of business travel and my bags got trashed.

Enjoy your trip!

That’s a Light Tote! My fav! I think it’s one of Lake Effects, too.
ETA: I love the color. I have 3, but not that one. Too bad about the zipper. Otherwise, it should dunk well and be easy enough to mask that stain.
