Thanks! will try it out..I just used the alcohol trick on my satin HPs and it worked wonderfully. I would just be careful with peep toes if your insoles are not the typical natural color.
I just poured a bit of alcohol on the toe inserts that came with the shoes and had my BF stuff them in as tightly as possible.
Hello all, I'm a CL newbie here. Got my first Rolandos today and am currently cutting off circulation via the sock-on-toes trick. I saw a couple pages back someone mentioned ice, and I've actually heard of that before. Has anyone tried this?
Basically, you fill (and seal!) a Ziploc with water, let it sit in the toe box, and put it in the freezer so the ice expands and stretches the shoe. It sounds great, but will the leather crack if it gets that cold and I try to stretch it?
thank you for the advice! the toebox area of my python horatio slingbacks are killing me. I am afraid of ruining the python skin with alcohol though. What do you think?
