Going to Paris for the first time later this week. Bag is not an option (it's a work trip and I am traveling with my boss, so carry-on only, de-tax/declaring not an option). I will be popping into FSH and Sevres, and curious if there is anything small, other than Petit H, I can't get at home (NYC/Madison). I was thinking something like an exclusive-to-Paris bracelet, SLG, etc. Anything you'd make sure to pick up in my position? I know the $ is not great now against the Euro...Thank you!

I believe there is a small charm on silk cord still available, which is the annual release for Saut Hermes. I saw some left at GV and FSH so you could try looking for that. You could ask the SAs for this. It is only available in the Paris stores.

Hi all! Been a long time lurker and thought I’d add to the discussion based on my experience. I’m in Paris right now with my husband - 0/3 (for each of us) on Lottery appointments. We went to the store near Arc de Triomphe (George V). The employee at the leather counter must have received 3-4 request cancellations in the span of not even 5 minutes. She was NOT having it and pointed all to the website (don’t blame her!). I saw 2 women for a leather appointment wait probably 10-15 mins, but then left? I wonder if they didn’t get a bag

It was a small store too, so we felt very rushed. We will be near FSH later this week and will see if we can go in for a quick visit. Wondering if a mid day visit will be calmer? Will update this group!

Thank you! (Won’t go off topic too much: but we had an AMAZING private appointment at LV at champs elysees, saw the LV dream expo, and so many pastries).

And I just wanted to share as I’ve lurked here quite a bit. As a mostly US shopper with Hermes, this was a very different vibe compared to our small store!

Definitely agree that the Paris stores were such a different experience than my usual H store, and mines not even that small (at least I don’t think so, haven’t been to too many). Here’s hoping you find a somewhat more chill time at FSH!

Yes they can see it easily if they wish, as it would be your account within the country. They can choose whether or not to take it into account in Paris. It really depends on the SA you meet that day, so only buy what you really, really want. 👌🏼

I’ve received QBs from both stores in the past.

This really depends on how your particular SA responds. I find that in Paris the SA you have makes a very significant difference especially for appointments, SO slots, extra special bag offers. My advice is to stick to the one store where you have the most senior SA who can help you across departments if possible.

Bag offers observed at FSH Fine Jewellery department, to different customers, while I was there. Etoupe Kelly Elan, B25 Sellier in Rouge Sellier and an absolutely beautiful BBB30 GHW which I hope was accepted. It was raining. 😉

As I prepare for my leather appointment in Paris this summer, I have a question: I have received 1 QB from Paris back in January this year, and hope to get the 2nd QB this summer. What's the process like to get an HSS offer in Paris? Is it something I should just ask and see what they say? I am curious if I can also have an HSS order for next year when I am attempting to get the 2nd QB. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Update from my weekend in Paris.
8 unsuccessful lottery appointment requests (4 for each my travel companion and i).
I really wanted to see Sevres store anyway, so went first thing and although the people ahead were refused I was very grateful to be granted a walk in appointment after specifically asking to be shown a Picotin. The fantastic SA let me try on both sizes 18 and 22 and I soon walked away very happy with my new Rose Azalee P22 with Palladium hardware

You might recall i mentioned here a few weeks ago i had placed an order for a custom Calvi to hopefully pick up in Sevres this past weekend too, unfortunately it wasn't made in time so have emailed customer services to ask for it to be delivered to a friend in France instead, hopefully this will still work out okay 🤞
The interesting thing is i ordered the Calvi in Gris Meyer exterior to match my B25 with Rose Azalee interior just as a random pop of colour .... little did i know i'd walk away with a Picotin to match that now too! I am feeling very fortunate and glad i tested the theory that fortune favours the brave!

I’ve been fortunate enough to be given SO opportunities twice at FSH. Both times it was a surprise and not something I asked for. I’m pretty sure consensus is to not ask as it’s something offered at the discretion of the SA.

Just a couple of data points, I go to Paris often (3-4 times per year) and have been trying for 3 or so years hard core to get an appt, both online and walk in, I go to the desk ask for cancellations, etc. The desk never even checks my profile, the poor people at the desk have people NON stop asking, I totally get it. In December, I finally won the lottery and I was taken to the leather appt floor (the one with desks) everyone around me had non QB's so I was worried, my SA came back and escorted me to a private room and offered me a B25 touch (passed) some other QB (exotic passed again) and then a B30 sellier which I was thrilled and accepted. She also let me get a TPM evelyne in rose confetti! She said she was new and couldn't give out her biz cards but was so nice. My only prespend in the prior 12 months was a kelly leather bracelet as I had bene focussing my spend on my home store.

I went back in April (last month) and bought some things (no luck on appts) and they told me to come back at 3 for cancellations (as always) so I did and they said wait 30 minutes then 15 minutes so I started just looking around and bought a small item and the SA was so nice she asked if I needed anything else, I said oh you can help in other depts (usually they cannot) she said sure! So she helped me with a pair of men's shoes and then I need to exchange a bracelet (bought wrong color) I asked if it was impossible to get an evelyne as my friend really wanted a 29, and then casually mentioned I am only spending more money because was hoping for a cancellation/ blah blah blah long story short she said hang on and left me when I cashed out, she came back and said hey follow me upstairs. I sat on a couch and told her what I wanted, she came back with my second choice (C24 in a beautiful neutral) and the evelyne for my friend. I was thrilled, she then gave me her what's app and said next visit she will try for my first choice so to reach out. I did reach out as I am going back in August and she said she would be there, I told her ill message her as we get closer to set a time! fingers crossed.
