Can anyone share when’s a good time to visit? And what’s the situation looks like during working days? Is it crowded and hard to get help from SAs still? I were there Sep and found myself in the market. And how’s the inventory look like for cloth/shoes?
Inventory for clothes are good now, saw many pieces from the latest collection as well as the past seasons collection. Shoes are mostly winter shoes (with fur/covered shoes), very little sandals on shelf.

Crowd wise, fsh is always busy despite weekdays or saturdays 😂

The system is becoming more and more annoying because there are more and more people abusing it and people always try to find ways to trick it.

It's now so unlikely to get an appointment when you're in Paris...and so frustrating for the people working at the leather desk to deal with those frustrated people in front of them.

In my opinion it would be the best to switch to a solution that shoppers can only apply for an appointment directly in one of the 3 stores…would increase chances and reduce frustration on both sides…and would reduce fraud.

That would vastly increase the foot traffic in the stores and require human staffers to take the appointments...probably would return us to the days of folks camping outside FSH.
And can you imagine the scenes while people are applying? and how much worse it will become for us locals?

The lottery isn't great, but definitely better to deploy technology (even if it's not exactly state of the art) to deal with many thousands of people per day.....

Thanks for your feedback! Is there usually a line up for cloth/jewelry during weekdays in fsh?

Can anyone confirm they can still arrange leather appointments with their SA at George v?

I shopped with my SA (leather SA) at George V for 2 years and I used to be able to email her for leather appointments, but this time she told me I have to apply for the lottery. I am not a big spender so I wonder if she has decided not to make exceptions for me. lol

Good point and I mean it‘s just a discussion…we cannot change the system anyway 😅
I doubt that this would lead to a strong increase of foot traffic because shoppers who are after an appointment and who are actually in Paris visit the store anyway to try their luck and nobody from outside Paris would just come to the store to apply for an appointment for the next day. But you are right, it would require additional space and staff to guide people.

Before the online system was introduced, people were queueing as early as 7 in the morning (even during winter) just to be the first to get into the store. Rain or shine there’ll be queue and it’s a sad scene to see because shopping should be fun and not stressful.

Yes, horrible…but it was a first come, first serve system. I am not talking about that.
If they would have a screen (for example like these screens for ordering in Mc Donalds) or whatever in store just for applying for the next day (same system as now but only for visitors) there won‘t be a reason for queuing because it does not matter at what time you apply.
This would reduce the number of applicants per day drastically and also the number of resellers and people just applying for fun.
But I see, I am probably the only one wanting this

Not to mention the people paying line sitters to hold multiple spots for resellers!

There’s going to be no perfect system, and resigning to go with the flow for me is the least anxiety ridden way forward.
