He already registered for the lottery appointment with no preference to all 3 stores.

He then received a text in the late afternoon in French saying he received a lottery appointment for Monday with one of the Hermes’ stores. Translating from French to English, it actually stated “your appointment is confirmed and the time may change. Follow it on: xxx link”.

Honestly we are so confused. Hubby will head to the store and confirm with them what’s going on. I will keep you all posted :smile: keeping fingers crossed 🙏
I found a sample of the text message on ********. You can cross reference if it is the same.

I want to confirm with you the steps.
1) Make an appointment request
2) Receive an email from Hermes with the subject as ‘Please confirm your appointment request’. Did you receive this?
3) In the evening, you should get an sms/email whether your appointment was successful.

I see. Late afternoon is strange as well. Normally you receive an appointment confirmation after 8pm in the evening.

Agree! Usually, appointment confirmations happen in the evening around 8-10PM.

That's why I mentioned earlier when you applied for the appointment, you should get an email to confirm the appointment (this does not signify that you got a leather appointment) but there should be a 6-digit code in the link. Visit https://rendezvousparis.hermes.com/client click the schedule code and type in your 6-digit code. From there, you can see whether your leather appointment is confirmed.
 
Does anyone know if a purchase in Paris CDG airport boutique “counts” as part of your France profile? Or no because it’s a franchise store?

It just occurred to me that the boutique SA didn’t ask if I had a profile or wanted to make one when I paid, and this was my first purchase in France (and it was several items including a non QB).

Or is a profile automatically created upon purchase?

as far as I know all airports Hermes purchase doesn't go to your profile.
 
Hello everyone, just an update: the leather desk SA told my hubby it was probably a glitch in their system which sent hubby a text confirmation to confirm his appointment with the store today.

This glitch probably explained why he didn’t got a confirmation email cos in their system it said he didn’t get an appointment. Oh well, the luck with Hermes’ is not on our side this time around. Our SA from FSH store also boycotted us as well 😅😅

But on the bright side, God blessed my hubby to score me my first ever Rolex watch in Paris and also in a really hard to get dial so I am very thankful and happy 😊
 
Plotting a visit, staying near the Sèvres store…. Send good thoughts, they’re open on 3 Dec (Sun) so going to try to raffle and will stop by regardless after checking into hotel to see if I can score a Calvi and make a friend :biggrin:
Gonna raffle but also figured Sunday evening pre close would be a good time to be nice and see what I could do for a next day appt Monday or Tuesday. Will report back!

1. try on Birkin sizes for long term planning
2. secure a Pico 22 or 26, ask for 22 touch or 18 cargo. Super open to color, want GH and best not epsom leather

Figure start with Calvi and ask for mysore or ostrich 🤤🤤🤤🤤

Reporting live from a very rainy Paris. FSH was crowded around noon. Sevres was less crowded in part because it was pouring when I got there mid afternoon. Not much SS24 RTW available in both boutiques. My SA said Jan 24 would be a better period to return for RTW.
Thanks for report and RTW status. I used to like picking up 1-2x “off the runway” pieces per year, but I think I need to make friends with SA to get that going :P I will endeavor to provide live status while in London & Paris. Fingers crossed for off hours helping!
 
Got appointment last week, asked for a kelly but SA said no more for that day. Thought we vibing she is so nice and complimented me but after she left to search she came back not in a good mood. Perhaps i didnt have a high purchase history? Shortly after i saw the other 2 desk were looking at k25,k28,k30 literally in one desk 3 sizes. Any advice what went wrong? She kept asking anything else u wanna buy, maybe i should spend more?

There are strong theories that each SA also has a daily limit of bags they are allowed to offer so there's a good chance it wasn't you, it was the SA who had already sold out of their allotment. Also, the other desk could have been showing the sample bags, not actual offers. You never know with Paris, so much of it is blind luck.

I have only a feeling that it may not have had anything to do with you. Perhaps each SA only has access to a certain pool of bags or each SA only has x number of BKC to allot per day. Or perhaps, she really wanted to get you the bag you wanted and some other appointment snatched them first. The fact that she was asking you afterwards if there was anything else you wanted makes me think that she simply wasn’t able to get your first choices. If this was a lottery appt, I don’t think it has anything to do with spend. If it is a walk in appt, I’ve read other posts saying that BKC might not be possible for walk in.

as I hit reply post, I realized @acrowcounted already covered this ground above ^ and made other valid points :smile:
