Oh very odd, DH said he didn’t get a schedule code in that text message that he received to click to confirm the appointment before desired day which is for Monday and for which Hermes store.

Anyone else here experienced this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
The schedule code is the same code as the one you received in your ‘please confirm your appointment’ email. Should be 6 digit!

Thank you for the response @HermesBible ! DH said he still haven’t received the confirmation email yet even after he clicked on the link in the text message to confirm.

It is really odd cos after clicking on the link in the text message, it says his appointment was confirmed for Monday and an email confirmation will be sent to him but no email till now :/

When you clicked on that confirmation link in that email you received, does it prompts you to do anything in the link?
 
No need to worry about the email receiving an email, just make sure you go to https://rendezvousparis.hermes.com/client and put it in the 6 digit schedule code from the first email. You should be able to see your appointment. Let me know if it works.

Was anyone able to resolve a situation like this?

Unfortunately he did not receive an email with the 6 digit code. It’s a text message with the link which he actually confirmed but the email with the time slot and 6 digit code did not arrive at his inbox. So am slightly confused tbh.

Yes there have been several people experiencing this if you read back. You must be in France and on wi-fi to apply which seems new (or at least different than my experience in 2022)

Reporting back from Paris. Unfortunately I was not able to get a leather goods appointment via the lottery. Applied 11 times but no success. I did a lot of traveling around France this trip so didn’t have a lot of time to stop by the boutiques. In addition to Sevres where I bought the shawl above I stopped by FSH. It was super busy especially at scarves. They had the black Clair de Lune shawl I was originally looking for but I decided one black shawl was enough (at least for now).

Overall it was a fantastic trip to France and already planning my next visit. Just wanted to share that it can be quite difficult to get a leather goods appointment via the lottery to help set expectations.

Are you really sure that the mail your husband received was a confirmation for an appointment and not only the confirmation for the participation in the lottery for Monday? To me it sound like that.

He already registered for the lottery appointment with no preference to all 3 stores.

He then received a text in the late afternoon in French saying he received a lottery appointment for Monday with one of the Hermes’ stores. Translating from French to English, it actually stated “your appointment is confirmed and the time may change. Follow it on: xxx link”.

Honestly we are so confused. Hubby will head to the store and confirm with them what’s going on. I will keep you all posted :) keeping fingers crossed 🙏
