My SAs have always arranged for a colleague to help me when they are either tied up with appointments or away. So far it doesn't seem to have affected any offers and I am pretty sure some are allocated in advance anyway, as the bags I wished for can't just happen to be in store on that day. Also, this is how I have gotten to meet more of the team than just my own SAs.

I am at CDG airport on my way home. So FSH was extremely busy on Saturday and quite busy Monday morning. The line before opening dissolved super quick. No one at the entrance asked what they where interested and everyone was able to work around.

I was able to shop a view items on RTW (male) and accessories. Especially RTW had good availability in terms of pieces and sizes. Saw a view things I never saw in my local boutique. There where also quite a view items from the FW23/24 show available already.

In terms of bags, absolutely no chance in all three stores. Not even when I asked specific for the Herbag. Wasn’t a big issue for me but some people… oh boy

@addiCCted , my experience is similar to that of @periogirl28 above.

@Tartin Tale , i just arrived at my prearranged date and time, after confirming with my SA. This time, even though she confirmed, she wrote back saying she realized she would be on maternity. She said her substitute would take care of me, and I would return to my old SA after she got back.

The substitute told me to contact her for my next visit and recommended end of fashion week in Sept for the best choice in future RTW. I am very fortunate to be offered a QB and non QBs at every appt, but except for my special rainbow bolide, I havent really asked for anything too specific. I have also rejected B25s that i don’t really love. I’m mainly a RTW client, and my spend is low at FSH. probably zero to 0.5X. Bit not for lack of trying. I think it probably helps that they know I would shop RTW and buy what fits; what looks good; and what’s in my budget, even without a bag. Both the sub and my SA are pretty frank about stuff that doesn’t look good. This is just my experience and it seems to vary from others on the thread.

@justdennis84 , I’m so sorry you didn’t get your her bag, but I’m excited that you got to shop cool RTW. Hope to see action pics soon.

ETA: @addiCCted , re QB: The sub offered me the opportunity to purchase both a 25B bleu de prusse PHW which i refused as I have two K’s in similar colors already and my rainbow bolide. When I got home, my SA offered a 25B quadrille which I refused by I had gotten a 28K quadrille at FSH last September. (My SAs know I love toile Lol)

@whiptea, it cannot hurt to try to contact via email (putting her name in the subject line) or go by and see her when you are there. I personally don’t recommend asking for leather appts or QBs specifically unless in person, but JMO.

Help Needed! Thank you in advance!

I had a great shopping experience back in Dec 2022 at the George V store where the SA and I really clicked - I did not get a leather appointment. She ended up offering me a QB and I accepted.

I forgot to ask for her contact info and I am heading to Paris in September... how should I proceed? Should I try to email the store in hopes of securing an appointment with her?

Did you try to write her an email? Maternity leave is usually in France around 3-4 months.
My SA also left in august and wasn’t back in February.
I had arranged with her to be seen with another SA

I did write her but got no response. When I called the boutique they told me she still isn’t back. I don’t know what to do, the appointment system is a nightmare and I’ve been a customer since 2018 visiting Paris minimum twice a year except during the pandemic.

I don;t think you absolutely need an appointment to get a non-quota bag. Was offered a Vert Fizz Geta today at Sevres. No appointment. I did buy some shoes and accessories but nothing crazy. SA was very nice. She asked me what I wanted and I said a mini bag in Vert Fizz preferably C18, mini Lindy or mini Evelyne. I just asked her on the 2nd day I visited the store if she is able to help me with bag purchases and if not I told her no problem. So she was v helpful. Anyway, if you want a non-QB, it shouldn’t be too hard I think. Just spend a little and ask politely.

Oh share some pics, must be gorgeous. Giving me a bit of hope, I’ll be there on Saturday only and there are a couple of things I’m looking for my boutique doesn’t have and want to ask for a mini evelyne in a pop of colour so hopefully will be lucky :)

Based on the way the hotel handled the situation I’m pretty sure it happened in her hotel room. I don’t know for sure, but either they were making up a story to tell me, or they were covering up something awful. I didn’t put it together until the third time a man from their staff had let himself into my room while I was inside without knocking or announcing himself (he was bringing me things I had called down for). I had the DND tag hung on my door and the DND red light switched on too. I was staying in the same suite where the woman had stayed the night before. I had noticed him watching me eerily in the lobby earlier. It was just the most bizarre experience ever from the moment I walked into that hotel. My instincts were telling me so strongly that I should leave. I slept with the couch pushed up against the door that night and then checked into another hotel first thing in the morning. Please, with so much love to you all, stay safe and vigilant with your H goodies in Paris, and always trust your instincts.

Good call on changing hotels. I’m glad nothing more came of this for you.
