Yes, I was waiting for my appointment which ran late and I saw how crazy the leather reception desk was. The SA that helped me shook her head when talking about the amount of people bugging them for leather appointments every day. I was very lucky to get offered a Kelly and a Mini Lindy yesterday.
You are very lucky! My wife gotten a walk in cancellation appt with sheer luck on the last day.. was paired with a very hostile/stern SA.. we were kind of taken aback at the way she spoke to us as we never encountered such an experience at fsh. It’s like suddenly both of us were like totally new to Hermes customers/small children and she was like a discipline mistress kind of vibes. But very fortunately perhaps she was offered a c18 and a picotin which she rejected for a mini Evelyn instead. Thinking back, I’m bemused by the encounter.

Discipline mistress, haha. Well, you wife got a C18 so it's still a happy ending story. Congrats!. I was lucky that my SA is super sweet and young. I couldn't believe my luck when I got the text notification that I got an appointment. This is my 3rd try in 1 week. I didn't even bother to use my kids' passports because I don't believe I would be lucky. The SA did not even check my passport or my US account.

Just on the train leaving paris after a lovely weekend of shopping and Hermes did not disappoint. I only had Saturday there and I did apply for an appointment but didn’t get one. So decided to go in the morning. Went around 11am no queue to get in. Went to shoes to check for Orans in yellow, they didn’t have that colour but had another beautiful jewel tone, Vert Oxford so got those. Then went to the RTW and fell in love with this dress after seeing it on @880 in a different colour (pic below).
After that went to the leather desk and asked if there was anyway they could squeeze me in as I was only looking for a mini evelyne in a bright colour. She was nice and told me to wait a bit that someone would help me. A few minutes later a lovely SA came, we went up to sit and discuss what I was looking for and drinking much water as this weekend was crazy hot in paris. So I was looking for a mini evelyne in a bright colour, showed her some options. Also asked about a bolide, preferably bigger sizes.
She went away and came back with 3 boxes. 2 mini evelynes (one white and one burnt orange, don’t remember the actual name) and one bolide 31 in red (again don’t remember the exact colour but it was more of a strawberry red). None of them actually worked and she totally agreed and went back to see what else was there, I said I was ok with the bolide 25 as well but not smaller and that I loved malachite color.
So she came back with a limoncello mini evelyne and a bolide vert jade. Both absolutely gorgeous so I took both.
We did discuss a Kelly pochette as she said she thought she had one but was 2 days ago, but that she will keep me in mind as I travel to paris for work sometimes. She was very very lovely, told me a few horror stories about the boutique and gave me her details. All in all a very good shopping trip but enough shopping for a while :).
I will post pics of the bags when I get home but the colour is stunning on the bolide.
Thanks for reading and for sure this thread helped me navigating FSH easier.

I recalled your posts in the bolide thread and I’m thrilled you finally got your bag. I can’t wait to see it!

And the dress is so lovely on you.

Tried to test my luck with the appointment system during ‘normal’ hours and still received this error message. Does anyone has a hint about why? I am of course trying from my iphone, not from my laptop. Thanks

Hi guys!
Just wanted to check if the 6 month rule bag applies to non quota bags or only quota bags? Asking because I managed to get 2 non quota bags back in February and scored an appointment at George V tomorrow but afraid I won’t be offered anything.
