Hi everyone. I am in Paris right now and just got my email notification of confirming my leather appointment at the FSH store. But, my appointment time is 6PM local time. Are there any chances of me scoring a B/K at that time? I am just slightly anxious that the selection might be less compared to earlier in the day. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful! Please and thank you!

It is entirely possible, as I did and I was the last appointment of the day and even stayed upstairs with my SA an hour after they closed the doors. It just really depends on the vibe you have with the SA and if they connect with you. Good luck and let us know! :)

They deny people bags from morning to closing time so don’t worry. If it’s meant to be you will get a bag no matter the time of day.

I have been denied a bag at 1030 in the morning at one appointment then and gotten a bag at 5:30pm at a different appointment. It’s less the time of the appointment and more connection with SA. My recommendation is show up a little bit early. Sometimes they can work you in early, or if not you have a little time to browse.

Hi,
My experience is quite interesting. Last year I scored a Kelly 25 with online appointment (after 3rd attempt). I clicked with the SA and she gave me her info. It was a great experience. She said “welcome to FSH. This is now your home store. Next time call me 2 weeks prior and I’ll get the bag that you one. This year we were planning to go to Europe but only one night in Paris. I contacted her via email and nothing. We left two messages and she finally replied to my email saying that she couldn’t book an appointment that we needed to go through the system. At that point I never ask for a bag. Well I had a big list of items that I wanted to purchase across departments. She assumed I just wanted a bag without asking what I wanted. So I replied (I know I don’t need an appointment to buy other things) and thanked her for the message and said oh I didn’t know that an appointment was needed to buy shoes, rtw, wallets, scarves, homeware, etc. Within seconds she replied and oh you don’t need one. Then I replied thanks . Fast forward this past Monday I applied for appointment but didn’t get one. I arrived Paris and honestly didn’t even want to attempt to go there but I did to test a few things. There were a couple of ladies in charge of appointments. Also I went late because my flight was delayed so this was around 5pm. A younger lady and an older lady. The older lady was nicer the other not. I was hiding from the ginger one I knew I had no chance with her but she came first. Lol! Obviously she said no because there was only an hour left. In the meantime the older lady gave an appointment to a couple who have trailed online system.

Part 2
So I was right about older lady. I have been en FSH and the younger ladies are harder about getting appointments or bags. Yes I could have shopped and try to charm an SA because that’s how I got my online appointment last year. I bought a few things that I needed and at 9:30pm I got the confirmation for next day. Although my flight next day was at 4pm I didn’t want to go through all that trouble and stressed out about my flight. I just wasn’t in the mood to play the game or deal with Detaxe and customs. Next day I went to Hermes at CDG L terminal. I decided to check to see if they had a few things my local store don’t have. My husband got a cashmere scarf, o got a bearn wallet and got a pair of sandals (new style that I haven’t seen). None of these were in displayed. I just showed him pictures and he went in the back. He asked me if I wanted anything else. I asked for the Kelly Elan and he said he did t have that style. I thought about asking for a Kelly or Birkin 25 but honestly I was not in the mood. I left very happy with my purchase. I’ve been searching for the bearn wallet for 2 years. When I asked him about wallets he showed me the bearn and slim Roulis. So cute and cuter than the Constance slim! Almost got it but the bearn is less bulky. Kind of regretting not getting too. At this point I don’t want to play that game in Paris. Sooner or later I will get the bag that I want. I rather go to my local store and buy from them. They tell me what they can get or not. The store manager tells me what he is ordering so I have a sense of what I need to shop in other stores. They have been good with some “impossible” things to find like a pair of black Chypres.
Lesson learn if an SA give you their contact info and promise you to get a bag for you next time that might not be true. BTW this SA said she helps you shop through the whole store in every department.
If you still want to pursue that QB in Paris but something that it’s impossible to get at home and try to click with an SA and tell that person that you want a bag and how hard is to get an online appointment.
Shop at the CDG! It’s so nice and calm and ask to see if they have those items even though is not displayed.
Honestly I’m not disappointed at all. I was in Spain for personal reason and Paris was just an overnight stay to avoid issues with flights. I wasn’t going to extend or do anything special for a bag. If it happened great if not that was fine. It was a nice evening. I enjoyed a very nice meal. Oh and btw it was my 26 year anniversary and like I said I wasn’t going to play the game and didn’t bother to mention it.
Just got back home and got a call from Rolex SA that she can get me the watch I want. So no QB but yes Rolex!

Have fun in Paris!

You did it with so much class. Happy anniversary. :)

Out of curiosity, can you give gifts to FSH SAs? I know for my local store, we're allowed to bring food that they can share.
Try not to. Even food, wine, caviar, flowers is now discouraged and it doesn't reflect well on either client nor SA. Just be the lovely customer that you are, that's all the SAs want.
(ETA I am writing this because I have been told various stories by my FSH SAs of people attempting to gift innocuous things with "surprises hidden within", if you get what I mean.)

Thanks! That's what I thought too. I went to the store yesterday and it was super crowded. I had fun watching people though :)

Simply sitting and waiting for an appointment, you do observe examples of human behaviour, good and bad and very, very bad. Especially at the leather reception desk. ;)
Yes, I was waiting for my appointment which ran late and I saw how crazy the leather reception desk was. The SA that helped me shook her head when talking about the amount of people bugging them for leather appointments every day. I was very lucky to get offered a Kelly and a Mini Lindy yesterday.
