I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

I stayed at a five star hotel next to FSH earlier this week where almost all of the guests walk back into the lobby with H shopping bags inside white ones after their day out, and one of their guests was robbed the night before I arrived. Based on the way the hotel handled the situation I’m pretty sure it happened in her hotel room. I don’t know for sure, but either they were making up a story to tell me, or they were covering up something awful. I didn’t put it together until the third time a man from their staff had let himself into my room while I was inside without knocking or announcing himself (he was bringing me things I had called down for). I had the DND tag hung on my door and the DND red light switched on too. I was staying in the same suite where the woman had stayed the night before. I had noticed him watching me eerily in the lobby earlier. It was just the most bizarre experience ever from the moment I walked into that hotel. My instincts were telling me so strongly that I should leave. I slept with the couch pushed up against the door that night and then checked into another hotel first thing in the morning. Please, with so much love to you all, stay safe and vigilant with your H goodies in Paris, and always trust your instincts.

Oh wow do you mind sharing if this was the Crillon? This is where I always stay!

Cassie Thorpe (the luxury Youtuber) just posted a Paris vlog where she mentions applying for an appointment everyday she was there. She didn't get one, not directly from the store either. I didn't catch which store she went to, but the SA had said they are getting between 30 000 to 50 000 applications per day.
I just watched it. 50 people long lines even before the stores open. Good god :-D

For all three boutiques ?

It did seem busy here this week but I also saw a lot of offers being presented and happy shoppers. Hope that helps you feel more confident for your trip. Also, the morning lines are just people arriving before opening. Once they open everyone gets to go in together. I haven’t seen or waited in any H lines all week (or at any other shops).

I know this is a weird question but does anyone by any chance know how long SA’s at FSH go on maternity leave? My SA went in the beginning of august and was just wondering around when she would be back. Any help is appreciated!

A very long time. Mine left early April, and may not be back until next year. She did arrange for a substitute and confirm she would be coming back as my SA. My next visit in September will also be covered by the substitute.
