I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Hi Everyone, I just came back from being in Paris for a week and did not get any luck with a lottery appointment. I used 6 of our family & friends passports and they were all rejected. Some of us went to the store to buy some things here & there and asked for any leather appt cancelations with no luck either. It seemed very busy and the protest didn't stop the shoppers. Wishing you all luck on scoring your dream bag!!
Likewise, was there Tues-Fri and applied every day, nothing. I didn't even get the rejection email until the following day after 10am. Went to Sevres on Tuesday and it was so quiet and then Thursday at FSH to pick up an online order.
The guy was so helpful so I asked if he could help me with a leather appointment and he redirected me to the lady in charge. She told me to come back after lunch - said everyone checked in. Went back and she said no. So no point wasting my time. I did pick up a Gee Gee charm at Sevres, none at FSH.

Are we allowed only one QB a year in France? Regardless of which boutique?
I guess the quota won’t apply worldwide as they cannot check other countries.
I remember reading in this thread some where that it is one a season. So 2 a year but they have to be 6 months apart unless the manager approves. There have been differing statements on whether other countries can see your purchases in other countries. Apparently some can see and some still cannot see purchases.

Thank you for the information
Is it safe to carry H bags in shopping areas like FSH and Haussmann tho?
I will let other ladies answer this question. As a local, I carry my (H and non-H) bags everywhere in the city, I even take the subway, living my normal life... I don't know, maybe I'm reckless... but I'm personally just cool with it:angel:

It's still two in France. Personally I haven't seen it applied with a wait in between or by "semester" as it used to be. And, of course, rules are bent every day :)

Hi- can someone please confirm if Hermes is closed on all French public holidays? I’m looking to visit the stores in May but it may overlap with Whit Monday (May 29). Trying to determine if the store will be open that day. Thank you!

My FSH SA said two, and I accepted two Ks last year. It didn’t prevent me from accepting my B25 from my US local SA in between the FSH offers. I’ve also declined other local 30B offers bc I have enough in that size. Both SAs are aware of all the bags I received in 2022. Reports differ on whether they check other countries or if it matters. I have not been limited as to semester. Seems like rules differ with circumstances. I have almost no prespend at FSH, but a sizable one at my local store.

I'm not a local but travel to Paris about twice a year. We usually stay in the 6th or 8th district and I have no problems carrying my bags everywhere. Whenever we go to Paris, my husband always says "Women have the best bags in Paris." :)

I'm the same way in Paris. I just don't stress, and carry whichever bag is right for that day. And judging from the bags on the metro, we are not the only ones. Lots of H on the metro.
