Hey,

I got an appointment for Hermes leather, and I would really like to get a mini Kelly or a Birkin 25.
Of course I have my favorite colors but I would be happy with any. :)

What would you recomend for an easiest chance to get a bag? Mini K or B25? And what color am I more likely to be offred?

I think you should try to give them options for them to look for.
Ask for any bags you’d like, ie. “I’m particularly looking for a Mini Kelly or a Birkin 25 in XYZ specs.” Or add in a third option that you’d want, this way they have options to look for and you have a chance at getting what you listed down.

Definitely be specific and tell the SA your favorite colors. Remember they will also assess you by what you're wearing and if they don't have/can't give what you want, they might try to pick something else they believe you will like. I dressed really atypically once and the SA was all "I see you love bright color" :lol:

But when I got into the private room, I was offered 2 B to choose from which I got 1 in my dream color.
So, it really depends on the SA.......they do have stock. I was not expecting any bags since I am not VIP and I heard there was no special bags...but surprised to be offered 2 to choose from.

There is always a QB in H. Assuming your SA wants to sell you a bag, let us not forget too that there is an allotment given to each SA by the Manager. One Selling Supervisor told me that for popular items, they have a "rotation system" in their boutique. So obviously, if your SA likes you and you have a good rapport with her, she can always swap with another SA an item or two to fulfill your wish right away. Also, one SA may offer you three different QBs to choose from, but the other SA may say "no bags available" because it is possible that her allotment for bags have been used up/she has already sold her bags up for that period.

Hi Everyone, I just came back from being in Paris for a week and did not get any luck with a lottery appointment. I used 6 of our family & friends passports and they were all rejected. Some of us went to the store to buy some things here & there and asked for any leather appt cancelations with no luck either. It seemed very busy and the protest didn't stop the shoppers. Wishing you all luck on scoring your dream bag!!

Same happened to me I was in Paris for 5 days, no cancellations, no appointments thru the lottery. Purchased mainly RTW and FJ, got a numer for a really nice SA but that’s it. No QB or non QB ☹️
Overall I’m happy with my purchases as my local store is low stock on everything especially RTW.

Local client story:
Big protest on the way today in Paris, but not near the stores. And I'm just out of FSH. It was empty, in each department, so quiet! I was looking for a pair of men's sneakers that they didn't have. Then I strolled about for a few minutes before leaving... The space with the appointment desk was also really empty, no one there, and the hostess was alone. I recognized her from a few years back, I had an appointment with her in late August 2021, and I got 2 Evelyne bags, a 16 and a 29, and she gave me her name but not her number or email. She didn't recognize me of course. I asked if I could have an appointment, she started to hand me the card... I said I already applied more than 60 times since November 2021, and yesterday... but still no. I didn't want to make the usual local client scene that I can hear sometimes "I'm not here for holidays, I work, I can't make myself available anytime anyday... blablabla", so I didn't insist, smiled and said politely that it's easier and more pleasant for a Parisian to visit other stores in France now. She couldn't care less:lol:
I'm not craving for a bag right now. When the day comes, I'll ask my regular SA at Sevres for an appointment, or I'll visit my other SAs in France. Just wanted to tell you about some random local client on a random day here;)
I miss the experience of actually shopping! When you can walk around in a store, when you can see items, touch them, try them, talk about them... especially in a super quiet store:rolleyes:
