I am visiting Paris in August and would love to purchase the Roulis 23 in black. I have just contacted my hotel concierge to obtain an appointment (leather). Is this the way to handle this? Can the concierge alert the store as to what I want to purchase? Any and all feed back will be greatly appreciated!
Karen
I'll be in Paris in late April and reached out to the concierge at Mandarin Oriental for the same reason. He told me that they can no longer make leather appointments for guests due to how busy Hermes is now. He did say he would be happy to make an appointment at Chanel though so I guess that's something. Maybe you'll have better luck. Let us know!

Hello @scndlslv , i would like to ask, if you purchase online a week before you arrive and have it delivered to the store, do you have to know an SA in that store? Or we can purchase online and delivered to the store even if we don’t know an SA? Thanks in advance.
No, you don't need to know an SA. Just go to the register and let them know you're picking up an order and need to return/repurchase for the VAT.

Hi - I will be visiting Paris next week. For sure I plan to register for leather appointment lottery during my stay in Paris.

I already have history in Asia store (in my country). I passed my wishlists to my SA and she is currently working on to offer me a quota bag for this / next month.

If I buy a B/K in FSH (know it is very hard…), can my SA in local store see FSH quota bag purchase history? And I cannot be offered another B/K at my local store during 1H?

By the way, I also met Michael Coste today before getting my Birkin, I just spotted him going up on my way down the stairs. I greeted him and we had a nice conversation. He was so nice and friendly, what a doll! No, I'm not VIP, so i know meeting him earlier had nothing to do with me getting the Birkin. It was just nice to meet him, that's all.
Pls tell me about Michael choste. Does he only take appointments with celebrities or millionaires/billionaires ? Does anyone know what he does?

I saw a lot of posts about registering for appointment at 10:30 Paris time. Is it really drawn at that time? I thought the appointment registration was open until much later. Has anyone gotten an appointment but registered much past 10:30?

Registration is from 10:30am-7:00pm local Parisian time. You can register any time in that window.

You are right.
I know a neighbor (ex-neighbor as I moved away), she was dressed head to toe Hermes and I have seen her with QB I have never even dreamt of seeing in real life haha. Mostly special edition, except 1 huge Kelly she used as a luggage when she went on a weekend trip.
So, She told me that she shops a lot at Hermes and with the same SA, and spent a certain amount (which I think it was implied: A LOT LOL). and she actually just give the wish list to the SA and that person contact her directly to come in to pick up the QB when it's in,,,,,,not based on chances/luck..... SA works for her LOL !!!!!

I have seen her collection when I see her from time to time then. It is completely different than my own experience of having to play the lottery (and there were dry months...literally hundreds of requests between 2 of us...and did not get any appointments for months and months....) but then, miraculously, we got 3 appointments (among 2 of us) within 3 months after the dry months LOL.
So, it is a very different world.

p.s. That neighbor told me she knows Michael Coste quite well.... I wish I can go to 1 of her appointments with her to see how appointments in 'her world' is like LOL
She is really nice and friendly, so, I like her a great deal. So does my daughter, she even gave my daughter a Rodeo bag charm on her birthday....... LOL
Are you talking about the Paris st honore store here? Did your neighbour spend at the FSH store?

I was invited to a private event today at the FSH location and wanted to share my experience. I saw beautiful bags being offered to left and right, it was amazing.

I personally purchased an exotic Kelly 20, Constance 18, 2 Evelyne Mini’s, and few other non-leather goods.

I was there too!! It was an amazing event.

I got a Mini Kelly in Black, a Constance 18 in Craie and an In-the-Loop 18 in Chai!

I will be the person who asks the obvious question - How did you get invited to that? I am assuming it was for their best customers?

The event was held on a Sunday when Hermès is normally closed in Paris. I was told that it was to allow clients during Paris Fashion Week to have a chance to shop without the crowds and to take as much time as they’d like. Honestly, it was a super nice experience to be at FSH without it being busy!

I’m really only a client for leather goods at Hermès, much preferring Dior and Saint Laurent for ready-to-wear (vice versa, I don’t own any leather goods from either even though I’m regularly invited to the shows and showrooms during Paris Fashion Week). I was, however, given the impression that they wanted to lure me into other areas of Hermès (there was no pushing at all, everything was done with a lot of grace and good humor).

Hi everyone! I’m going to be in Paris in April and I was wondering if someone has an SA in the shoe department that they can recommend? I am mostly interested in shoes and SLGs. Not bags. I would like to connect with someone prior to arriving in hopes that they’re able to help me source specific items:smile:

Just a quick question for the 'professionals'. Going to Paris in a few weeks and of course hope to get a leather appointment and maybe even a bag. I did get a 24/24 29 a couple of years ago that I love. I am getting mixed answers on whether I should bring that bag and wear my hermes sneakers to the store or will I look silly?... deciding on hermes accessories or Chanel accessories. Ive read you have to look the part- but at the same time I don't want to look like I am trying too hard but I also don't want to look like I am just checking it out. Thanks in advance for the advice.
