I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Just give it a try- there’s probably a rule that they can’t ONLY sell to VIPs for an entire week as that would be gross. So if you’re in Paris- go.

Question to those with an FSH SA: when you want to make an appointment to see them, how far in advance have you been able to schedule? I only met mine a few weeks ago when I connected with her during my leather appointment and we’ve emailed a few times but I asked if she’s free in February on a date I know I’ll be in Paris for work (and also will go to FSH) but she’s not responding to that. Chat before that was great so I can’t tell if she ghosted me or doesnt know whether she’s available 2-3 weeks in advance.
She probably doesn’t know yet or she maybe off. Usually 3 weeks in advance is enough notice.

From what I heard, they get their schedule a month before, ie. they will know of their February schedule in January :) Maybe she has been away/ just super busy at work. After a week or so, maybe you could drop her another email to check in since it is getting nearer to date.

Hi! How have you been? I know it’s been quite some time since we last spoke. Sis still loves to talk about how she got her first bag from FSH that day you also went. But unfortunately no good bag offer after that, so she has been somewhat jealous of my good streak past three trips.

But she’s no longer jealous as she was able to get what she wanted today!

It’s been a while! Keeping my fingers crossed for you at FSH!!!

Hi, bro! It feels like ages since we last spoke. Hope you and the family are all well.

For those interested in the outcome of us two sisters, we left Paris today with only one bag from FSH.

Sis had an interesting day when we went to FSH appointment on Monday. Her SA of the day was a fabulous H fairy and sis got a beautiful Kelly in specs she wanted. I would share the full story with a new thread.

It seems they just shoot emails for those rejected these days, with no texts. I received emails around 9pm for first two tries and got third (the last) one past 1am! While it didn’t matter to me, this must make vacation planning difficult. I think it’s safe to say that when you don’t get a text before bed time, you are not the “chosen” one.

You are right, when I got my appointment, the SA did not reply until 3 days prior to the date I am in Paris (I am working outside of Paris). so, it is not rare that they don't respond til last minute as they don't know their schedule yet.

As for visiting during Fashion week, I always thought it was impossible for non-VIP or non-social-media-star to get any QB during that time but I was offered my dream bag during Fashion week in the past, My absolute favorite colorway. So, it is still possible.
I was even given 2 choices of colors, I still thank BALENCIAGA for that LOL as that was the date of the hyped up Balenciaga show, so, the FSH store was quiet.

Most senior SAs in Paris work only select days of the week (because France ;) ); junior SAs too but they have less ability to dictate schedule; and they do trade days fairly often, so it's not anything to worry about (JMHO). Remember, their texts and emails are jampacked with clients asking the same thing.

I finally got my first Hermes appointment through the online lottery system. So my question is if it was you, what would you want to see? I’m a huge Hermes fan and although I have a vintage box Kelly, I’ve mostly purchased scarves and accessories. I tend to like the smaller sizes on me. Need some advice and inspiration from all you ladies. So excited.

There's a Paris thread in the shopping thread (you can search the words in the search bar)! Lots of great advice already and you can also ask.

it seems a shame that an appointment has gone to someone who does not know what to do with it;
there must be hundreds of readers wishing to be in that position and hoping to get the bag of their dreams
I don't see a problem with OP asking for ideas or suggestions from others, especially since they admit to mostly only purchasing scarves/accessories in the past.

That said, a few bags I would ask for other than the standard BKC would be Kelly Danse, drag 22, mini bolide, and mini plume. Some of these are even harder to come across than BKs, so I would take the chance to try these on if possible!

I think all hundreds of readers are super excited for @fashionpl,and hope they have a wonderful experience and the dream bag that so many of us don’t know until we lay our eyes on it. People so rarely get the exact combination they thought was their dream bag. What’s magical about Hermes and shopping is finding something you didn’t know existed and falling in love with it at first sight. My favorite purchases are the ones I did not know I wanted before going to the store. I can’t wait to see what @fashionpl is offered and the story attached to it!

As to what I would ask in this case, I would keep it quite open style wise. I would make clear what are no’s like hardware, leathers, size, or colors. I would talk about how much you love your vintage Kelly. I tend to always keep the colors open as I have fallen in love with too many Hermes colors I didn’t even know existed.
