Hi! How have you been? I know it’s been quite some time since we last spoke. Sis still loves to talk about how she got her first bag from FSH that day you also went. But unfortunately no good bag offer after that, so she has been somewhat jealous of my good streak past three trips.

But she’s no longer jealous as she was able to get what she wanted today!

It’s all good! I got lucky last year. So the stars aligned for her today. Congrats to your sis. What did she get?

Got finally lucky and received the text last week for an appointment at Georges V (end of afternoon).

I went with not that much expectations (National strike for both trains and metros, Fashion week, + I heard that they have very low stock at Georges V).

Purchased a silver ring and earrings before my time (that went early by 2hours at the end so I was like "OMG, they have nothing to sell so it's rly quick" but at the end it was maybe cancellation due to the National Strike).

At my time (check very often the online time because mine kept moving every 5 minutes haha). I went back in the store and a nice SA took care of me. She asked me what I wanted : I asked for B30, Gold as first choice with GHW but open to other colors and HW, second choice for a K28 Retourne, same colors and HW.


I waited for AGES haha for her to come back and she came back with a box and asked me to follow her upstairs (In my head I knew at this point it was either a B or K and according to the Box, the size I requested).

She showed me a wonderfull B30 Sellier in Rouge Venitian, I was sooo happy :smile: Not my first color choice but I rly like the color and the Sellier style makes it different from my other B's.

Paris Lottery system is a success for me and I was able to get the detaxe :smile:

Wow I love the photo background! Congrats. Can I ask- you mentioned you had a few previous FSH walk ins but no bag offer? What happened during those visits? I’m always curious what they say when they don’t offer a QB. Cheers! You can probably try to scout some orans or Chypre sandals to match that bag- would be amazing!

Yes I’ve noticed recently. I started following one SA who is in photos with influencers and you see one influencer with like 3 QB bags. It could’ve been a photo op but it looked pretty real. :shocked: Do they get commission on QB bags? I read somewhere that they don’t? I would assume it’s VERY easy to meet sales targets for QBs.

It’s possible to get 3 bags but not 3 QB. That person got one QB and other 2 non QB.
Remember also that at FSH a constance isn’t a QB. I have been offered one with a B30. I am not a VIP at all.

Yes I’m aware- i get the same offers. No the photo I saw was multiple QBs. Just double checked and it’s not on that SA page but on the influencers page directly. Maybe it was a photo op but I was surprised.

Funny story, I wanted to try for a walk in appointment at a Paris store (not the one I regularly shop at). I was able to get one after chatting with the attendants. Concerning whether they check your profile, for me, they did. The attendant who gave me an appointment scrolled through my profile, so I do think they check, and it may have influenced me getting an appointment. Now the funny part of the story is that soon after, I was approached by a leather SA asking me if I needed help. I said yes that I wanted to try the sample bags to make up my mind on what bag I wanted next. While this SA went to get the bags, the attendant came with another leather SA telling me that I was assigned this SA. I replied I was already being helped by someone. I should’ve doubted then that the SA helping me was not part of my appointment and was unaware I had one. A few minutes later, the first SA came back with the few sample bags for me to try on. We joked about how everyone would mistakenly think I was being offered these bags and ask their SAs why they weren’t offered them, which I overheard a man ask his SA about one of them. After a few try ons, I was set on sellier K28 for a new addition for my Paris closet, so I tell the SA this. She instantly tells me that I need an appointment and that I should try online. At this moment, I was super confused, but just thought since it was near closing, it was her way of telling me they didn’t have anything similar to my request in the back. I left puzzled. Back home, I was checking my emails (I don’t have notifications on so I didn’t see it or have it to show the SA) and saw I had gotten a “we are ready for you” email confirming my appointment. I decided to open the link, and it showed as my appointment still going on. I was unable to make it back to the store before they closed that day, so I guess I missed my walk-in appointment. I just thought this was a funny story to share on here. I later called Hermes, and they confirmed to me there was a miscommunication, and a mistake was made. Story doesn’t end with a new bag but a funny story and money saved.

One was at FSH :
Quite Rude SA asking me what I want and coming back after few minutes saying stocks are rly low and nothing for me.

One was at Sèvres :
Nice SA but quite "fake" if you know what I mean ... we chatted a bit and it was fine, he asked me what I want and then also return after 10-15min with nothing saying the bag he thought has already been sold and nothing for me.

I believe from the beginning both SAs did not want to sell me anything, because otherwise they would have returned with another option or another bag, even non Quota.

I was wondering if maybe walk-ins appointment have less chances to get a bag, maybe it is to please the client and avoid claims but with no intention to sell a bag ... IDK

When I scored I was dress very casual (legging + long knit + Boots + Moncler puffer) just with my Lindy26.
I am not sure there is more chance to score when you are in H from head to toes.

Also I noticed that in FSH and Sevres there are many more tourists. In George V only french speakers for 99% of people waiting for a bag. I am also french speaker. Maybe this helped for that store.

Hello friends! For those with any insight, is Paris Fashion Week a terrible time to score a quota bag? I heard that it is because most are reserved for VIPs during that time. Unfortunately, it is the only time I am able to go on vacay in the next few months! Your advice is greatly appreciated!

If it’s the only time you are able to go to Paris then I would say it’s your best time to possibly score a quota bag there. It’s all luck based so you won’t know til you try. Good luck.

Just give it a try- there’s probably a rule that they can’t ONLY sell to VIPs for an entire week as that would be gross. So if you’re in Paris- go.

Question to those with an FSH SA: when you want to make an appointment to see them, how far in advance have you been able to schedule? I only met mine a few weeks ago when I connected with her during my leather appointment and we’ve emailed a few times but I asked if she’s free in February on a date I know I’ll be in Paris for work (and also will go to FSH) but she’s not responding to that. Chat before that was great so I can’t tell if she ghosted me or doesnt know whether she’s available 2-3 weeks in advance.
