Everyone's experience varies wildly..
Please read this thread to see that people spend huge amounts of money but still dont get a leather appointment,
Some get the lottery appointment and dont get offered a quota bag
others walk in no appointment no spend and get lucky.
There is no formula, no rhyme nor reason.
Dont overthink
Just go with the flow and see if what the universe sends you.

Hello, noob question: does anyone know if leather SA can take regular appointments (for non-bag items)? I met a lovely SA from the leather department at FSH. I wasn't interested in any of the bags she offered to me as they were not in the specs that I wanted (non BKC), so she gave me her card and told me to come find her next time. I'm wondering if I can email her with my non-leather wishlist or she is just responsible for leather items?

“We don’t check profiles for walk ins?” Huh? What does that even mean? Aren’t they eventually checking the profile no matter what? It’s like some of the SAs show up to work on the defense. I guess if I worked there too I’d be completely jaded especially seeing first hand how ridiculous some people act. At that point tho I’d go work elsewhere or take a step back.

At the bolded. Agreed. Shopping isn’t supposed to be an stress-inducing thing. Sorry things didn’t work out that trip. As a regular do you have an SA? Or do you have to just try until you get an SA?

I was actually offered a non quota bag and find myself very luck for this. I believe that you will always get what you want when the time is right. I unfortunately dont have an SA, few years ago i have meet one and exchanged contact with her but when i emailed her to book an appointment, not for bags but for other items as well. She said she is too busy and would recommend that i come to the store and just find someone to help me. She use to work at sevres and this was in 2019.

My coworker/friend went to Paris this week to see family. I gave her a wishlist for a reversible belt strap and the MM and PM Garden Parties. She went shopping without appointment - they did not have the belt in th colors I wanted but she was offered a MM GP in Negonda Gold. I’m so happy and can’t wait to see the bag in person. Now the search for a rodeo and twillies to dress the girl up.

Yikes! I am blocked on the appointment registration.

ETA : I looked up the registration site Couple times to see how it looks these days. I did not apply though. Yet somehow I got a message “blocked.” So I tried another phone I had to see if there was a problem with site etc. Second phone seemed to work fine.

Days pass by and now I am at the airport, waiting for flight. I tried to register, as I would be arriving tomorrow. To my surprise, the site gave me a message that said there are too many who applied and I should try tomorrow. Strange I thought but what can I do?

THEN my sister casually registers herself even though she just saw me getting that darn message. And registered fine! OMG!! So I am really blocked. And this “too busy” message is just a cover up, like how they say “no bags today.”

And stupid me forgot to bring the second phone mentioned above! Nothing is going right on this trip from the start. Our flight actually took off last night and turned back to NY after 4 hours of flying. Feels so odd to be back at the lounge I left last night.. Feeling very tired and grumpy and now FSH does not even give a chance for rejection I guess.

You’re not blocked. That happened to me and several of us have posted about it in this thread. Change the email address or phone number to proceed.

Thank you so much! I just tried again with a different email addy and it worked.

Much of the scare comes from how the site literally said “BLOCKED” few days ago. Thanks again and let’s hope all goes well.

I learned of Erica through my sister who regularly watches her channel. I remember sis was annoyed at the fact how Erica never explains how she got that appointment.

I chuckled a bit when I saw how Erica showing off her gift. I’m sorry but I just can’t picture her actually using it. I bet she does not like how they heat stamped her initials and now she can’t sell or regift. I mean this is a lady who sent her only child to a community college, calling it an economically smarter choice.

Moving on topic, for those who happened to be curious of my attempts, I got rejected for Friday and Saturday as well. It seems they no longer send rejection texts as I only received emails. While twice isn’t much of a try, I am starting to wonder, why my email addy from first try seems “blocked.” It was great that I could still register with a different addy but that makes me question that they really must do something with my real addy! And catching up with this thread it seems pre pandemic purchase history seems to be gone for many so does this mean I am starting out again? Yikes!!

Interestingly, my sister received THE TEXT last night, welcoming her for tomorrow’s appointment. This appointment system works odd. They say it’s random but is for real? On her last trip, she got it with just single try. In fact, she has never gone past three tries to secure appointment! If it’s really random, I think I would make my sister buy me Powerball tickets from now on.

Forget the FSH appt! Have her save her luck and go for the powerball ticket.

I am new here but wanna share my personal experience with Paris Appointment System.
Sorry for my English, I am a French speaker living in Switzerland.

I started to apply few years ago, never got lucky, tried several times when I was in Paris to get a "walk-in appointment", succeed twice but ended up empty handed.

Since that I have been trying from time to time and "seriously" since 3-4 months.
Got finally lucky and received the text last week for an appointment at Georges V (end of afternoon).

I went with not that much expectations (National strike for both trains and metros, Fashion week, + I heard that they have very low stock at Georges V).

Purchased a silver ring and earrings before my time (that went early by 2hours at the end so I was like "OMG, they have nothing to sell so it's rly quick" but at the end it was maybe cancellation due to the National Strike).

At my time (check very often the online time because mine kept moving every 5 minutes haha). I went back in the store and a nice SA took care of me. She asked me what I wanted : I asked for B30, Gold as first choice with GHW but open to other colors and HW, second choice for a K28 Retourne, same colors and HW.


I waited for AGES haha for her to come back and she came back with a box and asked me to follow her upstairs (In my head I knew at this point it was either a B or K and according to the Box, the size I requested).

She showed me a wonderfull B30 Sellier in Rouge Venitian, I was sooo happy Not my first color choice but I rly like the color and the Sellier style makes it different from my other B's.

Paris Lottery system is a success for me and I was able to get the detaxe

May I ask what you bought/how much you spent? I have never been able to get a lottery appt for leather during a Paris trip and am planning to go again in a few months, so very curious how to score a walk-in appt. Thanks!

3 pairs of shoes, a blanket and a perfume. The day I received a walk in appointment I did not purchase anything before asking. The other days I asked after purchasing items with no luck. I think ur stars just need to align… right leather desk person at the right time?
