Do you (or anyone else reading this lol) know if you can score an appt from outside France Since I thought the lottery system (using VPN or whatever tech) can detect you are not in the country and automatically cancel the request? Or is this not true?!

From a post on FB, they can even ban your account if you use VPN (not sure if it’s correct but they can check it out). With my experience, i don’t know if it’s set up on purpose but I get my appointment request approved when I am physically in Paris. I have been traveling around France for a month though ..

Hello. Have seen a couple of YT lately saying if you buy a non-quota bag you can’t buy another leather bag (even if you have an apptmnt) for 6 mos. I also saw where once you make a purchase in Paris, they link your accounts. Do you think they have moved to be more strict? I know it’s a long shot at an apptmnt but if you have bought a bag in the US and then travel to Paris and get an apptmnt, would you even be able to buy another bag? Just wondering if it’s even worth trying to get an apptmnt on my trip as I just bought a GP a few mos ago.

No luck in appointment. I went to Saint Honoré. They had decent stock for shoes.
After chatting with my SA she asked what else I wanted and I said bag would be great. She asked what I was looking for, gave her my specifics. She tried to get me in leather department three times and was declined by the lady at leather desk. She then asked if I was interested in Picotin and Herbag and gave me color options. I said no to both.
SA was super sweet. Happy with the experience over all. And I appreciated her not forcing me to buy things from other departments.

I don’t think that’s true whatsoever but even if it is, applying for an appointment takes less than a minute. Theres only a tiny chance that you’d be granted one but if you are and you go, the worst that could happen is you don’t get a bag. I’d just try and let fate do what it will, not much to lose, imo.

Id say try your luck. I over heard some convos and some folks lucked out with appointments back to back. Not sure what purchase history they have but doesnt hurt to try. Worst case you get a no

I purchased a K28 in July at my home store. I was in Paris at end of August/beginning of September, scored an online appointment at which I was offered/purchased a Kelly Pochette. I didn’t ask if profiles were connected. I would say it’s worth a shot for you to apply anyway, as it appears to be SA discretion to offer you a bag.

In Feb 2022, my first time at FSH, I had the good fortune to purchase a K25, Bleu orage, ghw. I was also offered a mini Della cavalleria (love the bag, but it was bright green, so refused). I bought a few small pieces of RTW the next day, and i was invited to contact the Sa when I was next in Paris (mainly bc she enjoyed chatting with DH lol). Paris SA told me she cannot see NY profile. NY SA had encouraged me to buy the 25K and said profile is not connected. (All my purchases in every city are under the same name) London SA, who I met by chance, said the same. London SA (who also loved chatting with my DH) offered a Getta which I refused.

In Sept 2022, at a prearranged FSH appt for RTW, I sadly didn’t have much luck finding RTW that fit. I had no expectation of any bag and didn’t ask for any. My SA surprised me with a 28K quadrille and a cargo picotin 18 bc she knew I love toile (I have a toile and leather jacket from Ny H)

My non bag prespend in Paris is relatively small. 6100 USD in total between two visits.

In July, in between the Paris trips, my NY SA (I have a substantial 5X plus spend in my local store) offered a 25B sellier which I purchased.

Both my NY and Paris SA didn’t have a problem with my 2022 total QB (3) or non QB purchases this year. I think if FSH would like to offer you a bag, a way will be found.

Note: in both locations, I have no wish list and have never asked for any particular bag. (I’m more a RTW person )

I’ve been trying the past couple of days to register in the appointment lottery off and on from 10:30 - 7:30 while the site is open but keep getting the “due to high demand today…try again tomorrow” message. Wondering if anyone has had success registering? We have been travelling around France (so not in Paris) but would easily get there if successful. I wonder if not being in Paris has something to with it. I’m surprised that even at 10:30 it’s already booked.
