with so many applicants, I believe it’s harder to get an H lottery appt than a top Ivy League college acceptance

This made me laugh but it’s so true!

My husband and I were in Paris two time since November 2021, for around 5 day trips, tried both passports and still not luck.

So I treat it as a funny game, if you get it amazing otherwise not a big deal. IMO going to Paris with the only aim to have an appointment and score a QB is a big gamble nowadays.

Totally agree with you. So “Paris trip for Hermes” shouldn’t be the idea…
Also, wanted to mention, While I requested the leather desk at FSH to squeeze me in for an appointment I noticed the SA completely refused me and said they’re full etc, but the couple after me, where lady was carry an ostrich Kelly 25 in Etoupe was considered and they looked through her profile and told them to wait a few minutes … eventually they couldn’t get an appointment either only because they were being cheeky and had got an appointment 2 days ago and had already picked a Kelly 20.
My point is that they got noticed becoz of her bag and I was refused coz I wasn’t flaunting any H.. that’s what I think

Is there any good food recommendations near Sèvres or FSH? Going soon! Hoping to keep my DH and baby fed and happy while I shop.
if you like Japanese tea and sweets, go to Toraya. It's a few blocks away from FSH. I had ujikintoki (matcha shaved ice dessert) when I was there. very very nice especially during a heat wave.

Toraya also serves vegetarian or seafood rice bowl meals with miso soup during lunchtime.

Try Le Village Royal which is just up Rue Boissy d'Anglas for FSH, also lots of choice around Madeleine. I like lunch at Costes and Camélia at the MO.
For Sevres I guess Le Bon Marché is always a good idea. Not sure what kind of cuisine your DH likes.
To stay on topic - because we need to be fed when we go on a Paris Trip for Hermes. ;)

There are tons of places next to Sèvres. As @periogirl28 mentioned, there’s the Bon Marche’s Grande Épicerie, but there’s also a restaurant on the third floor of the Bon Marche overlooking the park. There’s also quite a few places to eat within the Lutetia. For a more local experience, I would recommend walking a few minutes either up to Rue du Bac or down to Rue du Cherche Midi. There are tons of very great restaurants on these streets. There’s the Poilâne bakery just behind Hermes on the Cherche Midi, which is one of the most famous bakeries in Paris.

Hello Ladies!

Baby was feeling much better this morning and we were able to make it as a family to the George V store. I gave the SA my wishlist, which was a Kelly size 28 or 25 in neutral colors. The SA went away and came back shortly after and said no B or K and offered me a bolide. I kindly refused as it’s not my style. After the appointment my husband pushed me to check out the flagship store and Sevres store, but both stores had no cancellations…

Thank you ladies for the wishes and support. Right now my focus is on the baby. I’m sure I’m going to sulk over this after tho.

Thanks for the extended list! I really don't like P's sourdough. *Runs away*.

So sorry to hear this. But also glad to hear that you were able to experience this first-hand.
Good luck with future appointments.

Glad to know your baby is well and you made it to the appointment.
While I was there last week I heard the same from others no B and K, people were being offered Picotin

There’s a cafe right around the corner from FSH where I think a lot of people wait for appts lol. I think on the same block.
@periogirl28 , I have no idea if this is the cafe I was thinking about; I found a business card: L’envue 39, rue Boissy d’Anglas 75008 (It could be something else entirely; but I don’t normally take any restaurant cards)

if this is the cafe, I’m not saying it’s anything special. DH took me there to calm down before my appt. They were friendly. they didn’t blink an eyelash when they saw me, an overly excitable tourist refusing to order even a coffee lol

now I’m doubting my memory of that day; I thought it was on the same block. IDK
