He is the one who has the appointment so they may refuse you if you are alone…
Maybe see how your baby feels in the morning? Sometimes an upset stomach goes away quickly with kids.
Otherwise see if the hotel can have a sitter for a couple of hours?

They need to confirm his passport number before they even ask what bags he's looking for, so he has to be there...Would he feel comfortable going in by himself, but be upfront with the SA that he wants to purchase you a bag for *insert special occasion* and you're stuck in the hotel with the little one? That way he can openly text or call you around the SA so he won't feel pressured asking for the wrong specs? Usually the SA's there don't like customers taking photos of the goodies, but it should be fine if he just call or text you about what they have to offer.

Honestly, if your baby is still sick have your husband go alone. Certainly in my experience, my DH alone has far better luck than I do. There have been other comments here which verify that fact. Men alone are very successful, and with a story of "my wife back at the hotel with our sick baby"? A very promising scenario IMHO. Just rehearse him in what you want and then have him text you with the possibilities. Yes I know it is disappointing to not be there yourself but it is the next best thing. I have been in a very similar situation and as he was texting me the possibilities my heart was pounding just like I was there myself!

I hope your baby feels better soon. Many SAs are also parents, so I think they would be very understanding. If your husband ends up going alone and lets the SA know, it is possible that the SA will be fine with your husband FaceTiming you in case he is offered something during the unboxing. Nonetheless, I have never had any issue pertaining to politely asking to take a picture of an offer to send to my daughters for their advice if they are not with me.

I’m sorry that your baby is sick. I hope he feels better soon. Tell your husband to FaceTime you and show the SA your baby. This could be a great start of a conversation. Sometimes they like to see the human side. The SA and my family talked like for 10 minutes about our dog and showed pictures. Then we talked bags.

He definitely needs to be there himself given the ID number (they will not sell to anyone else, including for detax reasons), but give him notes on what you'd like! As a husband, I've become more caught up on the H brand than my wife after a Paris trip!

Infact my friend was a regular at Paris and had a SA at George V (who’s moved to Lyon store now), she has purchased several Birkins, Kellys etc all before COVID in 2019, but they said they can’t see purchases before 2019! They have previous history of upto 3 years that’s what the SA mentioned.

For bags birkin Kelly Constance the système is global they can see you purchases but not the other items just bags. Few persons had the confirmation by SA including me.

Maybe it is for 2022 not sure ? I am in Europe was confirmed to me by my SA because I have reach my quota and told him I will try to Paris. He told me they see also. I did ask my SA in Paris yesterday and she confirmed.

It is again one of Hermes secret don’t know

a lottery appt does not require a profile or prespend, simply luck. There are many of instances here of members who spend many thousands and cannot get an appt or a bag.

But, with so many applicants, I believe it’s harder to get an H lottery appt than a top Ivy League college acceptance

re Paris seeing eu quota, I was told back in February that they can see Eu, but not UK or NY
another TPFer who is a Paris regular has posted that at the corporate level, they can see everything,
so, I think if they want to offer a bag in Paris, a way will be found to see or not to see, IDK :lol:
