They can read out from their phones the bags they have and if you fancy one they can bring it to you, but this only happens if you are a known customer. This lady purports to have never been to FSH, so who knows how she managed to get such preferential treatment and buy so many bags both QBs and non-QBs (during both walk-in appointments in the space of a few days during Fashion week).

I guess the story reinforces this: when the SA says ‘no stock due to it being Fashion Week/August holidays/no deliveries today etc.’, it really just means ‘no stock for you’.

I also found this suspicious without having some sort of connection. She’s a writer for that site. The main lead of that site always manages to get a private appointment without going through the system (at least after her garden tour). She just went to Paris again and was in the VIP room. She’s VIP due to her influence of her site. I will not be surprised if she connected one of her writers (the lady and the daughter) after not succeeding with the system. This certainly is not the norm. Everyone should go with zero expectations and shouldn’t plan a Paris trip for a bag. I know is easy to say but we’ve seen it with the majority of the posts in here.

I was asked to share my Paris story from someone on another thread…

I left for Paris the night of 6/19 arriving 6/20 morning. I tried the appointment system prior to coming and was denied for that morning which was Monday. I tried again that day for Tuesday and I was denied again. I also was staying across the street from the George V store and walked over every day and they said they couldn’t help me. I tried again for an appointment for Wednesday and I was denied again. So Wednesday afternoon I went and had Lunch at Hotel Costes and afterwords at 2pm I decided to walk to FSH and try my luck. I walked in and asked if they had any cancellations and they said no you need to try the appointment system. I told them I did try for the last 3 days and I’ve been denied. I said it’s been my dream to buy a Birkin in Paris and I was hoping I get an appt today because I’m leaving tomorrow. She said hold on, im going to give you an appointment right now!!!! I was SHOCKED. I waited about 30 mins and a SA came and took me upstairs. She asked what was my dream bag. I said B25 Gold GHW or mini Kelly. She said I was not getting a mini Kelly so I gave her all my favorite colors for the B25. She said ok I can’t promise anything but I’ll check. She came back about 30 mins later and took me to a private room. She opened the box and it was a B25 Barenia Faubourg Fauve GHW! I screamed YES! She also offered some Evelynes which I declined but I did get 2 twillies. So that’s how I scored my Birkin at FSH without an appointment. Basically don’t give up!!!

I always feel like more tourists are lucky with the appointment system (from what I can read here and hear there, it seems to me that a lot of American women score an appointment after just a few tries and get QB haha), maybe the lottery "knows" that they will be in town just for a few days/weeks and wants to please them so they can have the whole experience and build great memories:smile:
