I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

The text message I got said that my appointment time may change and to click the link to check the appointment time. I kept doing that and it kept moving forward and forward. I should have just walked it at my appointed time and maybe I would have waited a bit but not 5 hours. It would seem that as long as you have an appointment you can then show up at any time because if you don't arrive they will keep postponing it. I guess that is good to know.
Yes that’s why I’m asking. Should approach the host at your allocated time so they know you are here and they allocate the sa to attend to you shortly. If you wait according to the link..it will just keep changing and it’s not meaningful

it happen to me a few month ago. If you don’t show up at your appointment 45-30 min before it will keep changing. You might have to wait a little.

Dear all,
Need some advice from you if possible. I have been shopping with my SA in Saint Honore store for years before covid, now planning my trip back to shop there but her email no longer works….what should I do? Should I email the store manager? Or only can try the leather online appointment?
I wonder what happened…heard many SA left or fired in Saint Honore Stores…is it true?

Thank you all.

Why not do both? Reach out to the store manager to see what's up but also try to register for an appointment online at the same time, as in the day before you arrive? Best case scenario your SA still work there and you may get 2 appointments, or you may get one through either the SA or online, which is still awesome, just hate to see you or any member here not getting any at all.

I was super lucky to score an appointment at the FSH store during my birthday trip to Paris this week. I was hoping for a B30 in either Gold Togo with PHW or Barenia Faubourg Fauve with PHW. I couldn’t believe my luck when I got offered the BFF w/PHW … just what I was hoping for

In case helpful, I had a 12pm appointment, and my husband and I arrived around 5mins before to check in. We waited for about 1.5hrs before an SA came to take us upstairs. There isn’t any communication or updates during the waiting period, we just sat patiently waiting our turn. The SA was very apologetic about the long wait, but I had anticipated a wait in advance, and our patience definitely paid off in the end!

Not sure if anyone else has replied to your question.
I haven't used the appointment system (so I suppose my opinion is not that helpful...) but I would register with your passport name in case they cross check the appt. against your passport. DH uses his middle name in daily usage (too many men in his family with the same 1st name through the generations makes it difficult to keep track - LOL) and his cc is in his middle name. When I have purchased at FSH (scarves, belts, scarf rings, horn jewelry) we have used his passport with his full name for the receipt & VAT refund info and paid with his cc with his middle name. We have had no problems. You can always explain your purchase history is under your middle name.

Thank you so much! I ended up using my given name at first and when I was in Paris I created a profile at FSH and used the same name to try to get an appointment, but was not lucky enough to get one. Still, it was a nice experience, it was lovely seeing the store, the SA was very helpful and I bought a Clic H in a brand new color and some perfume

Did you try asking about cancellations?

The SA that helped me asked if I was interested in anything else, so I said that I would love a bag. She then took me to the leather department and asked the gentleman working there, but he just gave me a card with instructions to make an appointment online. My SA said it was probably just too busy, there were people waiting everywhere. I did not mind, the SA at my home store recenly informed me that after a long wait, my Kelly will be coming soon

I remember early 2021 at FSH, I asked an SA for bags (can't remember if it was with appointment or walk-in though). We sat down, she directly asked about me and what I wanted. Then looked at her phone to check my info (which they don't always do) and said pretty loudly "oh you buy a lot online!!":whut: She made it sound like it was a bad thing! So I immediately replied "well yes, when what you look for is not in store or since you need an appointment! I guess that's why Hermès has an online store: so people can buy and buy a lot if they want?!" I couldn't believe an SA would say something like that with such a condescending attitude! Aaaaand of course she had no bag to offer that day! It was the shortest encounter I had with an SA at Hermès.
It's weird that even now, with the supply not being enough for the very huge demand, it seems like SAs still expect you to ask for things from them and not buy it online if you want them to look out for B/K/C for you. An SA recently told me that too about online purchases.
