My Paris dream came true! My husband somehow talked us into an appointment yesterday for first thing this morning at George V and I was offered a B30 noir in Veau Jonathan leather (which I must admit I had never heard of but was beautiful in person)
wow congrats, i read that its like swift but stiffer which holds the shape of the bag better. Such a beauty!!

Heading to Paris for the first time since 2018. Unfortunately did not have a good experience last time ( in fact it was actually quite bad) so my hopes are not high. But of course I am hoping for something off my wishlist like Plume 40 or B35. I don’t have an SO and I often travel alone so it’s discouraging to hear that solo clients don’t seem to be served well. I have a purchase hx in France but distant(2018). Any tips ( if I am able to get an appointment by lottery? I only ask bc I rarely see people who are alone commenting about their experience. Fortunately I have a great SA/SM here but of course am hoping to bring home a H souvenir from Paris…
You are probably better off asking in the Trip to Paris thread.

I was at FSH yesterday for my leather appointment. My appointment was supposed to be around 1pm. It kept moving and it ended up being at 6pm. I wonder if I showed up earlier, would I have had my appointment earlier? I just didn't want to be rude so I went by the time on the online appointment page. I do wonder how my appointment could be more than 5 hours after it was supposed to be though... It seems like I could have showed up at 1pm and they would have given me an earlier leather appointment just because I was there and present...

Needless to say they didn't have any Birkin or Kelly's at the end of the day. The SA was very apologetic and offered me 2 non quota bags. From what I saw other people on the floor also weren't offered any quota bags. I saw a couple Garden Parties.
I am gutted to be honest. I flew in for my appointment on the day and I was super exhausted. Then I had to wait around for 5 hours in anticipation so I wasn't able to enjoy Paris.

All leather appts at the Paris H stores are made via the online system where you can select any of the 3 stores or choose a specific store. Only handbags require a leather appt. For all other items including belts, shoes and SLGs, you can walk in and inquire with an SA to assist. Good luck and have fun in Paris.

Thank you so much! At what time would you get a confirmation if you got an appointment?
Would you suggest selecting "any store" to have a higher chance of getting an appointment? Or is say the FSH store more likely to have inventory of quota bags?

The appt site states communication between 8-8:30pm Paris time but sometimes it is later. Selecting 'any store' will prob give you a better chance but nothing is certain and it is all luck. Since you are going to Paris in a couple of weeks, I strongly recommend reading this thread as far back as you can to learn some of the experiences shared by others. Good luck and please report back on your stories.

Hello everyone, I have been reading this thread for a couple of months and am very grateful for all the helpful information. I’m going to Paris this weekend and want to try to make an appointment. My given name differs a bit from my official name in my passport. My creditcard is in my given name and so is my previous purchase history. Will it be a problem if I register my given name and in case I am lucky enough to receive an appointment, they see a slightly different official name in my passport? I am grateful for any advice, thank you.
Not sure if anyone else has replied to your question.
I haven't used the appointment system (so I suppose my opinion is not that helpful...) but I would register with your passport name in case they cross check the appt. against your passport. DH uses his middle name in daily usage (too many men in his family with the same 1st name through the generations makes it difficult to keep track - LOL) and his cc is in his middle name. When I have purchased at FSH (scarves, belts, scarf rings, horn jewelry) we have used his passport with his full name for the receipt & VAT refund info and paid with his cc with his middle name. We have had no problems. You can always explain your purchase history is under your middle name.

Did you approach the host to inform that you had arrived? If you didn’t, the appt time would keep changing actually as they thought u haven’t arrive

The text message I got said that my appointment time may change and to click the link to check the appointment time. I kept doing that and it kept moving forward and forward. I should have just walked it at my appointed time and maybe I would have waited a bit but not 5 hours. It would seem that as long as you have an appointment you can then show up at any time because if you don't arrive they will keep postponing it. I guess that is good to know.

Hi everyone! I'm in Paris now and wondered if anyone had experience registering on Saturday for a Monday appointment? I registered this morning but have not received a reply (even a rejection). Wondering if I am supposed to get a reply tonight or tomorrow (Sunday) evening. TIA!

Hello,
For the lady who asked about 'different name' on passport, not to worry. they actually check the passport number.
I found out when I pointed at the name on my passport at the appointment but she said 'I am looking for the passport number'.
So, that means, passport number used to register need to match the passport you show when you go for appointment.

have a nice day.
