Congrats! Such special bags to be offered on a walk in appointment. Did both your spouse and yourself try for the online appointment during your time in Paris? I wonder if getting an online appointment (if ever so lucky) will somehow undermine chances at any prearranged appointment with an SA for later part of the trip if the SA sees that you have managed to snag an appt earlier on, whether or not any qb has been offered during that appt. I also have an appointment scheduled with my SA which is happening mid trip, and can't quite decide if I should try for online appts or not before my scheduled one in case I actually am so lucky to get one but end up with an unhelpful SA who shows me nothing but somehow thwarts my chances at getting anything good from my SA when she sees that I have already been at the store few days before with another leather appt.
We did try for online appts. But it’s more for my spouse. It’s unlikely I would get any online appt as I came during Nov and managed to get an online appt. So in this sense, I didn’t purchase any bags at all.
I have the impression that my scheduled appointment would definitely have something nice offered because of my purchases made in Nov but nothing is guaranteed hence we made the decision to try for the online appts. So we now just look forward to the scheduled appointment with no expectations. It’s a wonderful H experience to be sprinkled with surprises.

Hello :-)
My sisters will be visiting France and have a question for everyone.
From your experience, is it true that the % of getting quota bag through walk in appointments much smaller than an actual online appiontment?
I was wondering as I went to 1 and it was very different than the actual appointment I got online.

Any stories to share?
Thanks so much.

I do t have any stories to share yet, hopefully soon though. But I have a question for you.
How different was your walk-in app to the online one?

I think there’s no difference unless my spouse is extremely lucky.
Hers was a walk in appt on sat morning and she was offered the hss b25.
Mine online appt last Nov was on Saturday evening and only had a mini Lindy.

time of the appt makes more of a difference imo.
My sa scheduled appt in June is in the morning

I just came back from Paris. I had an appointment with me SA and the service is very efficient. I was immediately asked what I would like and taken to the private rooms. I waited five minutes and she brought me a lovely Kelly and Getta. She then proceeded to spend 2 hours with me to find other items on my list.

On my first appointment visit I was in the open area in Sevres and then taken to a dressing room.

I noticed if a person is offered a BKC at Sevres, it will not be in the open area. I asked her to show me how to tie a twilly correctly and her response is, "I cannot show you out in the open, the store will be not in a good state".

If I walked in and assigned an SA, the service is very distant, "How can I help you".

Hello gi201,
I think my walk in was very dissapointing....she almost seemed impatient when I gave her the list haha.
And she was only able to show me casual bags which none was even on my list. While the actual appointment scored online was more detailed and the SA was more attentive.
But might be just the different SA....so, just wondering how many people with walk in appointment scored quota bags.

Hi!
Thanks for replying and for sharing this.
I don’t know anyone that has been successful getting a quota bag as a walk-in, but I hear stories about it. ‍♀️
Hopefully, I will be able to share some feedback after my trip.

I think it is all random and about luck. Both online and walk in appts are super hard to come by, and whether you get a qb depends on the SA you are assigned to. I have been paired with totally unhelpful SA on my online appt and got nothing, and yet managed to secure qb on walk in appt. So I think it is just about being at the right place at the right time to be assigned to the right SA whom you have the right chemistry with who has the power to offer you qb and the stock to do so.

In 2020, I tried to get an appointment on-line and was unsuccessful. I flew to Paris with my fingers crossed. With a lot of patience (and being as polite as possible when asking), I was able to get a walk-in appointment at FSH and left with the bag I requested- a green Birkin 30. I bought the mini-Evelyn earlier in the day at Sevres. Pure luck and probably due to lack of travel to Paris during the pandemic, but it can happen….

I totally agree with this!
I may be an exception but had three quota bags in Paris from 'walk-ins' (2018, 2019 and 3 weeks ago) - only ever had one appointment and no bag from that!
