I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Needless to say those with long purchase histories would probably always have multiple bags offered and some would be collecting their reservations and SOs while others are offered exotics, runway bags, Limited Edition seasonal bags, which generally are not offered to first time clients. I hope this helps
This entire post was extremely informative, thank you. :)

If I may build upon your last point (and apologies if I am taking it out of context) there are lots of posts here that claim, the SA lied, or a post may express indignation that a bag is offered to another. I started shopping H seriously in 2008. Only, I then stopped for a number of years bc my SA left. So, I kind of lost ground in building my history. (Which I am making up for now lol)

I accept that, just as I accept that TPF friends whom I know from the WS or Madison store (back then we used to meet up in person regularly) get offers that I am not yet considered for. When H says, sorry, x is not available, it means x is not available for you at this time. There is not an endless supply of certain items, and I believe H should in fact reserve those items for long standing loyal customers of the house.

One dear TPF friend obtained a wicker K and a exotic mini K last year due to the strength and long tenure of her history. She doesnt buy for the sake of prespend, but bc she loves Hermes craft across different lines. I think we should celebrate those moments and not say, why not me.

Apologies, I tend to write lengthy posts

I would have to agree with you. It’s nice to see that your friend has had her loyalty rewarded with 2 beautiful bags. In the same way, it would have been a pity for her store to offer those bags to someone completely new to that store with no prior history at all. (Even worse if that buyer turns out to be a reseller and flipped the bags for huge profits immediately after). Alas as we have seen, some people approach FSH as if an appointment and then a HG bag is what they are absolutely entitled to and are very upset when it doesn’t “manifest”.

I believe they are still making them, the current prices thread has recent purchases from January.
I think I saw one on the Norway site recently, but the link is no longer working.

JYPSIERE
Jypsiere 28: (28 x 22 x 12.5 cm)
1/12 Clemence £6,190/6,350€

Jypsiere 31: (31 x 25 x 14 cm)
1/21 Clemence £6,770/6,950€
You are right, Jypsiere is still being offered. I was offered one at the Rue Sevres store 2 months ago but rejected it as it was not the color I gravitate to.
hi, if I’m going to Paris on 20th July , do I start trying to get an appointment online now ?

Hee hee, If you are like me, by July 20th, you might get an appointment if you start applying for appointment now
I just got another rejection email today (both me and my hubby). We just can't seem to get any appointments...

Oh, if you do get an appointment, are you able to come here sooner? I am so disappointed at the system that I am giving up on living in Paris.. since I am able to live within France for what I do for work. I might move to a less crowded city (for my daughter's sake as she is not fond of the crowds everywhere), so, I might move out of the city in a few months and by then, if I get an appointment, I will just come to Paris for the potential of scoring a bag.

Scoring an appt is very difficult in Paris, let alone getting a bag. I was thinking of staying in Paris for 2-3 nights but I think I’ll cancel it. Once I get an appt then I’ll do a daytrip there. I want to buy other goods (homeware, SLG, RTW) but it looks like SA won’t be able to give you a leather bag appointment on the spot.

I think you’re right, I’ll do that too in the next weeks because I’m at my 11th try (my husband too) and still no appointment. Also noticed that SAs no longer give « pity walk in appointments » at all, I tried coming at opening at all three boutiques, saying that I tried X times, that it’s my last day in Paris. Even sent my husband alone to try For those that scored an appointment via the lottery system in 2022 - how many times did you get rejected before succeeding?

thank you for sharing your experience. Maybe I’ll have better chance scoring non quota bags in London or other cities.
for luxurious maison such as H, the shopping experience isn’t that luxurious at all :)

I am not sure if anyone would remember but my mom and sister got an appointment at 5 on Monday! Not really expecting much since it’s right before they close! But I’m glad they got the appointment!! ☺
My appt was at 3:30 in February. I didn’t ask for a b/k until 6 and still got a cargo b25! I wouldn’t be too worried about the time
