Hello ladies
I am visiting paris briefly.. for 2 days, and I want to try my chances at Hermes FSH and George V stores. For FSH store I know that we need to apply online for appts. Is it the same for George V store?
During my previous visit at Hermes FSH store, I went to the store early in the morning to get an appt when I could not get an appt online.
Has anyone tried visiting either of the stores in the afternoon to get an appt?
Thank you in advance.

All stores in Paris now use the online system for appointments. Good luck!

thank you for your reply.
I guess you cannot enter the store unless you don't have an appt?
You can visit a store at any time, but if it’s a bag you’re after, yes, you need an appointment (and to use the registration page that you’ll find in this thread). However, several members have had luck getting an appointment (and some a bag) on the spot. Worth a try :flowers:

Hello ladies
I’m based out of European region but have a FSH SA that I’ve been working with. Before checking directly with her, would you know if the store still ships items overseas (including quota bags)?
I know that they did earlier in the year when the city was in lockdown. Not sure if overseas shipping has stopped as the city reopens.
thanks in advance!

I believe it’s stopped again for quota bags unless exceptional circumstances such as SOs. Generally I was told FSH prefers not to, as it’s really not safe and they cannot guarantee you will receive your bag. They can ship everything else. I would of course advise you to check with your SA.

If you have an established relationship with an SA you can just ask her. My SA ordered a cabas en biais and a Pegasus rodeo for me that arrived way after I left Paris and I got an email from H saying that because of the sanitary situation they’re willing to ship to my place (overseas).
Not sure about quota bag.
I got a shipment sent to me a month ago from FSH. I chose to ship only RTW but left behind SLGs which are on hold there because I myself don’t want it going missing. I also declined shipping quota bag offers but that was in December last year.

My SA also shipped me quota bag but only because the store was closed to customers (lockdown in France) and she told me that was exceptional.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share my story about buying 2 Kelly 25s (one was a SO) on a 1 week trip to France the last week of July. And, thank you everyone for sharing your stories. It was super helpful, so I hope this helps someone as well. xxx

My husband and I tried 2x to get an online appt at FSH. Sadly, we did not get one. We decided to go to Lyon where I had previously gotten a B30. We got paired with a new SA who was the loveliest person ever. She readily wanted to help us find a bag that would be perfect for my bday. I told her my favorite bag would be a K25 in a true red, sellier, and GHW. Within 5 minutes, she brought out the bag of my dreams. It was a K25 in Rouge Vif, Sellier, GHW and Tadelakt leather. Trust me, I was in shock. The last time I tried to get a B/K in France it took a lot of attempts, so I was beyond pleased with this experience. Afterward, we shopped together, though there was no pressure to buy anything, but of course, I couldn't resist walking away without a few more items like these Oran Shearling Sandals (super happy with them).

Also, it's important to note here, this was also my bday week . So, for the next 3 days I used my bag continuously. I was obsessed with the style and size, but I couldn't resist trying my luck once again... I had already saved up to buy 2 Hermes bags that year (one from my trip, and one from my local store with no luck). So, I figured why not ask the FSH store? My husband got a manual appt, but sadly no luck even with the appt at FSH.

On the last day, we dropped by Sevres for some gifts, and I met a lovely SA there (previously never bought anything there before). It was almost closing time, but the SA was super kind and shortly after my husband asked about a bag appt, we were able to get a stunning Kelly 25 in Etain, Retourne, Swift and Palladium Hardware that also happened to be a SO bag (my first ever!). To say that this Hermes shopping experience was the best I have ever had is an understatement. I feel truly grateful and blessed. Also, I never get this lucky. The last time I scored an Hermes B/K/C bag was 2 years ago in Lyon (and none at my local store that I've been shopping with for a yr). Wishing you all the very best!

Hi Juliet,

Congrats! As a gentle warning - the oran sandals, in any color outside of the nudeish pink they offer is known to stain the feet.
Want to warn you in case you didn't know as they now are supposed to disclose this to you when you purchase them.

Congrats on the bags!

Thank you so much! I actually didn't know this when buying, and it already happened to me. Still, I love them and appreciate you trying to give me a heads up.

When I was in Paris in 2019 I asked about shipping a bag overseas (to my address) and the SA conveyed an attitude of we really don't want to do that. Later I found that H can courier the bag to my hotel which was at least partially helpful.
