I think it linking up worldwide would
Help the majority of us get offered a bag at FSH because they will see our long purchase history of items at our home store and see our brand loyalty versus a reseller’s profile. Bags this year are so limited, that many people haven’t gotten both of their quota bags for the year already and if they have, I don’t think it’s a hard and fast rule. If a bag is available that you wanted at the time of your appointment I feel that it would still be offered to you. just my opinion though. FSH I don’t think are stickler’s as they know many loyal customers in the past years, come to FSH to get that third bag of the year. Obviously for newbies, the linking doesn’t affect them at all

that need to be confirmed but apparently they only see bags.. After I guess if they see that you get 1/2 bags a year at you local boutique you must have a good relationship. Gone plan an other trip next month to get a mini Kelly or Kelly I would ask.. I will ask in a smart way French is my mother language so will make it more easy.

About the concern about sms activation did try today still a fail with Belgium number. Gone try tmrw with my Mexican number. If it is also a fail I suspect that it is in a way A new way for Hermès to make peoples came to the boutique to be sure they are in France.. I did try to apply in France with my Belgium number and didn’t work. It is going on since beginning of the month if it was technical issue would have been fix.

My mom and I were trying to get a leather appt for a couple days but the SMS code wouldn’t come to our phones! As mentioned, ppl with US numbers were having issues. We’re staying near the George V boutique so I would just walk there, scan the QR code and fill out the form online and they would give me the SMS code (they can see all the applications and respective codes). The SA took us around the corner and asked what I was looking for. I said either a K28 in sellier + epsom and a bright color like Rose Shocking/mexico or a bright green OR a B30 retourne + togo in a neutral color - gold/rose gold hardware for both. She went to the back and came back with a box and that’s when I think I had a heart attack :nuts: We went upstairs to a room and she opened it up and I fell in LOVE. The SA, my mom and myself all thought the size and color were good, plus it matched the necklace I was wearing and my cat’s eyes lmao. So long story short I think it’s true that if you really do show you love the brand you’ll get something!! I also believe in manifestation and kept deciding not to buy some things on this trip (we were in Italy before Paris) because it would’ve prevented me from getting a B or a K even though I obviously had no clue I would be offered one. When we were leaving the manager said she knew I really wanted an appointment so she wanted to help lol - I know this is a long story but it’s such a weird offer experience that every detail counts :biggrin:

Such a great story and persistence pays off! Heading to Paris in September so I'm hoping they get the SMS thing figured out by then and for similar luck as you. Enjoy your beautiful bag!!

Today my husband and i went to Paris Sevres and didnt manage to get what i want. I do not have any purchase history in Paris. While chatting with the SA, my husband told the SA he does have good purchase history in FSH and the SA looked into his account. It was just a casual conversation but i was thinking to myself whether is it advisable for the SAs be aware of both husband and wife accounts? Not sure myself but just a weird feeling

I asked my SA and they don’t actually see any other purchase beside quota bags, more specially only B and K. It just show how any you have gotten this year and cap it at 2… unfortunately the profile won’t show any other purchase history.

Sorry to hear that.. You try to explain the situation that you did try 8 times ? 8 it’s crazy! May I ask you we are you from ? Because of the issue with the mobile number..

I didn't have any issue with the SMS verification with my German number. Went to the stores and told them about it, but they were packed and all I heard was "Sorry Madame, we are full and already late on our appointments". The tourism has increased to almost normal levels in Paris. Not so much for the attractions, but for the Hermes stores definitely.

After reading some success cases here in this thread without appointments I was hopeful to make it work somehow, but 8 times email and additional face-to-face apologies is a very clear answer :D

Hope that all of you have more luck to score an appointment or meet a friendly SA with a heart that can work some magic or two :D
I got a bit disheartened after all this and will be turning to fine jewelry for my upcoming Bday present instead

January is typically a low season since Hermes tends to let out a lot of bags near Christmas. If possible, try to visit in December. But again Hermes store in Paris will always have bags, just depend on whether or not they have what you are looking for (and if they want to give it to you ).

I was able to acquire a Kelly with my exact desired specs in early Jan 2020. But I do have a regular SA and was able to secure an appointment directly with them. Not sure if stock is supposed to be generally lower in January (vs. December).

To be honest, it would not be a good idea to come to Paris now (or for a while) if you want to visit mainly for B/K hunting. I am in Paris now & tried to apply for appointment system.No activation code was sent to me. I tried 6 times with my US phone number.
I actually somehow managed to purchase a handbag because I have SA here. I wanted to reach him before leaving for Paris but I could not.He had not replied to my emails & nobody picked up when I called the boutique.
(That’s why I tried to secure my appointment)
The thing is that SAs have more day off since they could not take vacation during lockdowns. I guess my SA has no time to deal with emails when he comes back to the boutique?
I was told 4000 people apply for this appointment system daily…
