I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Does anyone know if the artisans will still take vacation in August like they usually do? I'm assuming they will... just trying to figure out when is a good time to go to Paris! late enough so they can restock... but before everyone goes on vacation
All French take vacation in summer and August is a dead month, last year there were some strikes when some factories asked their employees to stay working in summer to make up for the 2-month lockdown lol.

I’ve seen Tamara Kalinic (youtuber) getting a constance and a K (or B) at the same time… She mentioned that C isn’t a quota bag in FHS

I’ve been following Tamara for years and she isn’t treat at Hermès like a standard customer. She don’t need appointment, she put bags under her boyfriend name that’s good for her but you shouldn’t compare her to you,me, the other members

True! In case they ask I don’t know if I should lie or something, lol
Why bother lying? ;) It’s not like you have a reason to, and an SA will generally not be nosy, unless you have a rare item they get curious about.

That’s less and less true. Few businesses can afford taking the whole month off anymore, especially after 3-4 bad years with protests, transport strikes and now the pandemic. Late July to the Monday after Aug 15 will be slower, but not dead.

They say it’s 1 k or b bag per season SS/AW so 2 per year
I wonder if they have changed to 2 per year regardless the season
My SA said 2 B/K per year, Constance not a quota but if you already got multiples that year, they may not prioritize you when offering.

Just wanted to add that stock is rather good at the moment here in Paris. As long as you have an appointment, it’s almost certain that you can get a quota bag. Whether it’s a specific color you may be looking for is a different question. I’m not sure, however, how long this will last as the pandemic slows down in France and more tourists come.

thank you for the informations ! Did you manage to apply online for an appointment ?If yes you use a French number ?..

An Hermes SA that is professional would not think of asking that question
or putting you on the spot. No reason to have that dialogue. You are not the
only one who walks through the doors of Hermes with a bag or other items
that have been gifted or purchased on the secondary market
How or where you get your Hermes items is not of any of any interest to a SA
SA's are there to SELL.. enjoy your trip & perhaps you'll score a bag or two.

I do agree you won’t be ask with a classic handbags maybe with a special order but not even sure. At the moment the system isn’t worldwide or Europe so they aren’t able to see if you have bought bags from an Hermès boutique.

I have a SA that I’ve known for a very long time at Sèvres. I haven’t used the reservation system but I have several friends who have, most of them getting an appointment. And yes French numbers.

For the numbers issue, I think this is just a technical problem. Earlier this afternoon, I saw various foreign customers from the Middle East and South Korea at FSH with appointments
