I have an appointment tomorrow close to closing time. Is this a bad sign? I'm afraid that everything will be gone by then if there was any inventory

Unfortunately I had a similar experience and went home empty handed from FSH. I originally had a 16:20 appointment that got pushed wayyyyy back until 18:30 and by then all they had was a Rose Pourpre Gp, which I stupidly turned down because I was too upset. I hope things have changed since then! Good luck!

not my own experience, but a good friend of mine went (this was back in October) and her appointment was the second last before closing. she was told there was nothing left because all the stock is gone, BUT this is just anecdotal evidence so hopefully it is not going to be reflective of your own experience. best of luck and pls let us know!

Hey ladies and gents, thought I'd share my story of Paris Faubourg boutique here.

I went to Paris during Xmas and hoped to score a b or k there. After a few failed attempts of getting an appointment, I was finally offered one at 10.30 on the 28th Dec, which was 2h20mins before my flight back at cdg airport. Worried about being 'blacklisted' if I don't show up for my appointment along with my gut feeling telling me to give it go, I went there on that morning.

I went upstairs and browsed around the home & RTW session while waiting for my SA. She was a young, friendly lady and asked me what I was looking for before she went in to check the stocks. No chitchat small talk at all but she didn't seem cold either. I was a little worried as she didn't take any notes about my preference. Around 15mins later she came back, empty handed but with a French smile on her face, whispered to me 'I have something to show you, would you come with me, please?'. The fitting room we went (oh boy, it was busy there!). I saw 4 orange boxes on the sofa, and one of them was MASSIVE... I knew I was getting something big. She went 'I tried to find you a bag and it's not easy because stock is really low between Xmas and New Year, I hope you're going to like this'. My heart dropped because I've asked for neutral colours... as I could be quite picky with colours and neutrals IMO are safe choices.

And then she took out a B from that massive box... I almost couldn't believe my eyes because I knew how popular this combination is and supposed to be one of the most sought-after bags. She was actually nice enough to offer it to me when my DH was paying and he didn’t even have a profile in Paris, never mind a purchase history! ‘35 in black Togo with gold hardware?’ I asked just to make sure that I am getting it right and she nodded to confirm, with a big excited smile on her face. This is my ultimate holy grail bag but I wasn’t even in hope of scoring one from the boutique myself, considering how small my local boutique is. I was so delighted, held the bag for literally 2 secs and said, ‘this is my bag now’ to my DH. I told her I had a flight in pretty much 1.5hrs time but this was all worth missing the flight for. The nice SA then quickly showed some other items that she thought I might be interested in but wasn’t pushing me into buying any of them. I bought a fourbi separate bag lining with the B and then went to the cash till. Just while we were waiting for the cashier, the SA checked the traffic for me and reassured me that I’d make it, how lovely! The uber came at perfect timing and we indeed made the flight.

I’m sure you’ll know how a B35 looks in black Togo with GHW but there’s a pic of my very own brand new b:

Just wanted to quickly share my sisters experience at CDG airport hermes. She was on the hunt for me as I wanted to get a Constance or Roulis. She went to sevre store yesterday afternoon and was told to wait 2 hours, as she has other plans she didn't wait. She went to the airport store today and asked for a Constance, was told that it is for VIP only, and when she asked for Roulis, they wouldn't tell her what color they have, but ask her to buy something else first. The Roulis cost about 4.6k euro and she was told to buy another 4k hermes stuff! I couldn't believe it! It was just mini Roulis not even a Constance! Of course she left without buying anything, just wanted to share the experience. Is Roulis very hard to get in Paris now?

What I was really interested in knowing - are my chances a bit better to score other bags (ie Lindy, Halzan) at FSH vs. B/K.

May has a ton of French holidays but it was the only time my friends could schedule. Not to mention Cannes Festival and the Grand Prix.

Thanks.

There is a Hermes store in Monaco so anyone going to the Monaco GP would buy there. Cannes has a lot of designer stores too and is very busy during the Cannes Festival. Of course, now there’s another GP in the South of France! Good luck!

There was someone on this thread that tried for an appt everyday for and few weeks after being offered and buying a bag at her appointment. She was trying to go back to exchange the bag. She said if was able to secure an appt Paris was a short train ride away. She ended up not getting an appt and went to the store anyways.

Was she able to get another online appointment though to see another bag?

Any other advice out there ladies?

Personally, i would not encourage you to go to Paris just to attempt to score a bag. You'll be disappointed if you are not offered a bag/did not even get an appointment.

Its hard to pintpoint when is the best to get appointment/bag, as it based on pure luck. First on getting an appointment , second is on getting a helpful SA + good stock level.

This seems to be their SOP for leather bags. I had similar experience when asking for a lindy. Too bad.

I’ve heard stories like this especially when it comes to popular items. Roulis is very popular at the moment IMO. I’m saying that because I the ones i saw in Faubourg and London Bond st had display only tags...

My SO bought me my first Birkin at FSH under the old queue system in 2016. The SA gave us her business card and did mentioned we could look for her the next time we are in Paris. We would be heading to Paris next week and I just found her business card and there is only a general email listed on the card. Is this normal? Understand that it a new system now. Should we still try to email to get an appointment? Thanks!

You can email with her name in the subject heading and let her know you will be in town, but you will probably still need to register online for the appointment. When you turn up for the appointment, you can then ask for your SA to serve you. This is if you are trying for a B/K.
