I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

I have a K35 and sometimes it feels big and sometimes I wish it was larger! If I recall correctly you have a small child, it might be a great size if you need to carry a few extra things. And definitely user friendly with the hands-free option.

Yea I know. I'm in dilemma. It's in a dark color which I prefer, can be used on all causal occasions... just that I wish it is a bit smaller so that I can use it on formal occasions as well.

Today we will do the 3rd attempt which will probably be our last attempt. Will reserve our last day for relaxing in Paris before flying back on Saturday morning [emoji2]

I am curious what's considered jump in line here. Is it still considered jump in line if they only ask for ONE appt? My husband went with me to line up, then he needed to go to the washroom and also wanted to get some coffee. I am not that lucky that although my husband is willing to pay for anything that I like, he doesn't like waiting that long in line. He would get really grumpy if I didn't let him go pee. So he went away for about 20 minutes to do his stuffs and came back to join me when the store was about to open. Note that we only asked for 1 appt, not 2 separate ones. Does it still considered jump in line? Also, my sister is going to Paris with her husband in Jan. She will be 3 months pregnant by then. She is very skinny, so her belly doesn't show at all. If her husband waits in line and she joins him later, would that be inappropriate?

Asking for one appt between a couple ( for toilet breaks, expectant mums) is not the same to me as having " 15 guys" join up at opening time. I am so angry reading this. I come from a country famous for orderly queues.

Good luck today.

The Kelly that you bought is stunning and I think it looks wonderful on you. Honestly I don't think they would sell you a bag that didn't look good on you. They are very honest about things like that.

This is the thing about shopping at fsh. It really is luck what they have and it is highly unlikely that you will find exactly what you want. So for those of you who asked if you are offered a bag at home should you take it or wait, take it. For those of you who are going, think about what's most important to you. You will have to compromise on size color leather or hardware. So think that all out ahead of time. Once you are presented with a bag you have a few minutes to decide.

I think I'm gonna put the box in the checked luggage and put the Kelly in a longchamp bag like everybody suggests here (in fact my husband had the same suggestion, although he doesn't browse purseforum lol). The box won't fit in a carry on for sure.

I'm almost 5'4". In fact I think K35 is a little too big on me but my husband said it looks just fine. Well I guess it's all about personal preference.

Good luck!

I am 5'4 and a size xs/s. I have a B35 and a GP36. I was hoping to get a B30 or a GP30, but they were not available. I won't say that they look overwhelmingly big on me, but I usually carry the minimum:
1. a small wallet,
2. a tiny makeup pouch that only has a lipbalm, lipstick, small size hand cream,
3. one key (this one key can open 3 different doors in our house),
4. a phone.
I don't even have a balky car key. My car has a keyless entry that is in the size of a credit card, so I always keep it in my wallet.
So my husband always laughed at how those 4 tiny things wondering around in my huge bag like gold fishes. I have a feeling a K35 might look big on me if I carry it on my shoulder, because the skinny shoulder strap and the length of it that the bag hits a bit too low on my frame. But I think it should be fine to hand carry it.
I shipped all my boxes home. So far I have been able to put all my purchases in the two carryons, including the GP36 (handle slightly bended though). Your husband is soooo kind. Every time I mention our next Paris trip, my husband would add, "as long as you don't ask me to line up again."

OMG, that's insane. I was lucky then. I was there 5 times in 4 different days and didn't come across anything like that. I would have been so mad that I would probably say to them that they should not do that, although I don't think that would change anything.

I have never queued but jumping would just make my blood boil. And this costs genuine customers their appointments.

Update: Failed my husband's 3rd attempt. This time me and my baby went into the store when it was almost my husband's turn. He got an appointment at 10:50am. When me and my baby tried to go in there was still a line outside of the store. The security let me go in immediately when they saw I have a baby in my arm, but still I explained to those customers in line that I already had an appointment.

We were served by Caroline at leather dept upstairs. She was more sincere compared to Asya and Disy (SAs that my husband met on his 1st and 2nd attempts). She checked the inventory but couldn't find anything. She said the stock was really low and probably no new stock even tomorrow, but asked us to come back at 2pm just to check if there would be any new stock. We went back at 2pm, she checked again, nada. She asked us when we'll be leaving Paris. We both had a feeling that she really wanted to get us a bag, unfortunately there was really no bag. She will be off tomorrow so even if I wanted to schedule an appointment with her before I leave Paris on Saturday early morning, it would be impossible.

So I guess that's it for my smaller Kelly hunt[emoji28]

Yes, it's fine to hand carry the K35. In fact it's a nice size to hand carry. However I do agree that it looks a little bit big when carrying on shoulder. Good thing is my K35 is in darker color which makes it look smaller.

We started packing last night and decided to put the Hermes box into one of the checked luggages. Figured it should be fine if it is wrapped with some clothes.

Thumbs up for your husband. . I think my husband will stop at first attempt.
